Saturday...

night...what's going on? anyone know.
I'm so out of the loop, it's not funny!

The boys and Jerry and I and my sis and her bf are all going out to dinner tomorrow night for my oldest son's bday, he'll be 14! Going to be a freshman next semester, time sure flies by!! Saturday during the day we're driving down to see my mom and Sunday I think we're going to 6 Flags, full park, but definitely not as long as we were there last Saturday.

Have a great weekend!

I was just talking to my X tonight about our son.. OMG my baby will be 26 in Dec.. just can't be so. Sometimes it is weird for me to think he has 2 babies of his own.. and I do love those beautiful little girls.

Hi lovely peeps! :)

I had someone email here, who is coming to St. Louis this weekend for something in the Westport area...I think two single guys, ladies! ;) LOL

Anyway...he was looking for things happening while he is here...and great places to eat...and I totally do not know the Westport area, so told him I would ask you all for some input!

GARY...watch this thread, hon! ;)

Thanks for your help Miss Harleykat. We're leaving in about an hour. Our motel is in Maryland Heights but we'll be spending most of the day at Green Tree Park near 270 & 44.

Okay, everyone always asks "where's your picture?" Hey, I'm on the witness protection plan. No I'm not married or anything like that. I'm the short skinny one & John is the construction worker looking guy. I'll try to check back in here tonight at the motel.

Later!

Gary...is this the ROAR races...remote controlled cars? Sounds fun!

I think GreenTree park is considered Kirkwood...not sure...but if so, beautiful area! Be sure to check out Doc's Harley Davidson for your St. Louis HD tees! ;) LOL (I'm one of those who buys a HD shirt wherever I go...bring me one from your parts! LOL)

In that general area...my fave place to eat is Sweet Tomatoes, but that is because I am a salad freak! (Fresh bakery, soups, salads, phenomenal salad bar, baked potato bar type of place) If you are looking for something fancier or more social...will think of some places! The main roads in that area are Lindbergh and Watson Road, where you can find just about everything! There is an AWESOME sushi restaurant there as well!

The pics...nice idea to place at least a private one on your profile which you can attach in an email, so that someone knows who to look for when meeting!

welcome to the area, Gary and friend, have a great time while you're here..Should be a good weekend for some fun in the sun or relaxing pool-side (if your hotel has one), so what brings you to our fine city?

Hey ..I don't know more Ms Ambie!

But YES Trainwreck is one option at Westport!

There is the NEW club ..PURE.....DJ music and good dance music!

Then there is Backstreet...........another great place ..depends on the band and you can always call and ask ..$6 cover!

All these places have a COVER CHARGE...................

and then there is always SKY LOUNGE in Ballwin......$6 cover and Griffin and the Gargoyles tonight...........that is where I will be.............non-smoking event, $6 cover and dance on STAGE...what more could a girl ask for..........and of course POLE dancing for me..........the SKY is the limit!

Well if they are up for a drive, they can always come out to Troy to the Lincoln County Fair where they are having the Truck/Tractor Pull and the Demolation Derby tonight. They got some good bands in the beer garden as well. Tomorrow night they have the demolation derby again as well as Steve Holy and Little Big Town in concert.

For all you single gals that are looking for your cowboys, this would be one of the places you can find them. Save a horse, ride a cowboy!

Well we made the trip to St. Louis & back home. Apparently Mother Nature didn't want to cooperate. Rain cut things short for our racing. So after practice Friday night we stopped in Kriegers (Twin Oaks?). Our waitress who said she can remember what everyone ordered (party of 9) because she is a rock star was a fabulous hostess. After dinner it was check in at the motel, prep our cars or drink beer. By the way if you ever want to meet Whoopie Goldberg's sister she works there. This gal freaked when 9 dirty sweaty men walked into the office. She asked one of my buds' if he was related to Britney Spears (same last name). Another gentleman in our group got accused of being 'The Grinch". By the time we walked out of the office our cheeks hurt from laughing.

Saturday- Since our day was cut short by the rain it was time to pack up & head for none other than Hooters (Maryland Heights)! Yes it was next door to that lovely roach infested motel. I really like the orange shorts but I'm wondering what mini skirts would be like? Miss Hummingbird took good care of us & I swear she was trying to get me drunk. I guess I have that virgin beer drinker face. We found our new motto- 'My drinking team has a racing problem". After about 2 or 3 hours of being obnoxious we finally crawled back up the hill to the Extended Stay.

Sunday morning we discovered it's better to turn the opposite direction of what those little signs say when you exit for food. Apparently those who got out of church headed for Denny's. There must have been 200 people trying to get in a place made for 100. We took a right and found Waffle House. Walked right in, placed our orders and ate. Food was excellent and the waitress was cute.

There's our story. Sorry I couldn't get on the 'puter at the roach motel. Harleykat let me know if you want a t-shirt from any of the Worth stores here in the KC area.

sorry your trip was rained out Willy..maybe next time!

I decided to stay in tonight, you all better mark that down in Guiness Book of Records, that doesn't happen too often! the boys and I went to Dave and Busters today, spent a cool $36 on our 3 cards, didn't take long either...went to hang out at the mall after about 30 min stuck in traffic along 270S...went to KFC for dinner..then home to spend time and visit with my nephew's kids. they wanted to play Rockband with my sons...bout the time I showed up with the camera the oldest of them said, never mind I want to play toys! go figure!!!

Tomorrow is another fun filled hot day at 6 flags with my boys, the last visit for them for awhile until a weekend visit in a later month during the year; we've had a blast...I think on Sunday, we're going to Riverchase for the water slides, instead of 6 flags..why??? I would have to pay $15 for parking at 6 flags and I don't have to pay for parking at Riverchase in Fenton!

Hope everyone is having a great cool weekend!!
