hey Susie, I might be down that way tonight. I have a wedding reception to go to this evening and depending on what time I get out of there I might head down to St Charles to get out and about for a change. I'll send you text if I decide to come down to see if you all are still there.

talk about a FUN time.. that was so much fun... there were maybe 12 people there.. NOT all were from pof... but one couple from pof met there tonight for the first time and seemed to have hit it off.

If you ever get the chance, it is worth going.

sorry I missed the good time there. I used to go there before I turned 21 (which was many ages ago) and have gone there just a handful of times since, but we always had a good time. I ended up going to the local bars out here in Troy last night after the reception, had a great time and am thinking that it's high time I get back out again and stop playing hermit because of my surgeries......unfortunatly though the smokey bars is doing a killer number on my throat.

I see we have survived (almost) another long weekend; heading to wineries today.
I think I'll be glad when Tues rolls around so I can rest LOL

Had fun at Mark Twain Lake; went out on a friend's boat for a trip around the lake, had lunch and almost ended up as an overnight adventure..you know, no cell service, no oil in the boat, all oil containers empty, good thing the water patrol was out and about, they came right away, offered us a qt of oil and we made it back to the main boat ramp.
Hung out at the house yesterday, the guys cut his mom's grass about 6 acres worth! I laid around most of day, wasn't up to par, feel much better today!

Well Dave and I went motorcycling ride with Clint up and down 94 thru the Winery area on Sun. Nope, didn't stop to drink just enjoy the beautiful day. Today Dave and I went by ourselves over to the river road and stopped at the Dock Restaurant in Grafton. Good thing I was wearing my swimsuit - decided to go into the river to cool off. It was so nice that I didn't want to get out to get back on the bike. Hope all had a good weekend.

Thanks everybuddy for the b-day wishes. Learned how to Kayak this weekend and man is if fun! Not as difficult as it looks... much easier than a canoe. May be my next new hobby!
Small world Cammie... Denise, Jerry, and I were AT the wineries today! Oh well just one... I am NEVER drinking wine again. I got a terrible headache and I'm still not sober!
Sounds like we all had a good weekend!

Winery happenings

alright, the winery trip was a blast, we did think about winery hopping, but after the first few sips of wine at Montelle, we decided to buy/share a bottle, grab some food and hang out and listen to Terry Beck (one-man band); he sounded very good. We didn't dance, I don't think it would have been a pretty scene if I woulda been up there, hanging all over my guy, while he attempted to hold me up Oh yea, I got up just fine this morning to go to work, and no headache at all; fell asleep around 9:30 last night though, however tossed and turned along the way during the night, due to going to bed so early!

And Laura and I found out we previously dated the same guy; he was one of the good guys! We had a good laugh on that one and sent him some emails tonight to let him know..he's such a good sport! It's a very small world, LOL

as far as the 20th of September, Cammie I will have to let you know..Jerry thinks he may be hunting, it would be something fun to do, maybe I can get Tracy to come along with me; it's been a long while since she and I got out and about like that. Thanks for the info!

Hey...does anyone have any ties to Limo companies? My daughter's 21st birthday is in November, and we are arranging a Party Bus (yes, Denise...a PARTY ON THE BUSH!! LMAO) or stretch limo.

If so, please let me know!

Terri ~ sky lounge is every Wed, most of the time, you'll either hear REAL, Honeyvox (9/10) or Ralph Butler, alternating Wednesdays..per their website.

Kat ~ I found our bush, I mean bus or what was left of it, back parking lot of Strat Hotel last party, I about fell over laughing so hard..didn't have time to click for a pic!

The Trixie thing was good..the first 3-4 songs no one danced, we just let Trixie have the stage if you catch my drift...then later on folks started dancing. I did notice a pic of Steve playing his guitar, all they had was his hand on the guitar strings, and then his guitar beside the picture. It was packed all night long. I did get chills when she started talking about him though.
