I know there may be exceptions to the rule , but most of the women i've ever seen with " Tit-oos " ( ive just invented that word btw lol ) were either

a) fat
b) desperate for attention
c) going to a westlife concert next month with her mate " shaz "
d) butch
e) wears tracksuits

I have 2 tattoos myself , but i think a lady with a tit-oo lacks class , and thats a major turn-off.
It just says " cheap n nasty "

Hey one out of five isnt bad! And yep sticking to stereotype it is a rose as its my nan's fave flower and blue as its my fave colour.

The only visable tatoos I would have would be my childrens names, but thats awhile yet!

hmmm ponders... as we are doing generilisations..

a) you are fat? i am but i'm not ugly inside or out.
b)desperate for attention. I really worry about this statement. I'm not into flashing my tits for the world to see. I don't need attention i get it without showing a tattoo.
c)westlife? crikey you have poor taste in music
d)butch? theres nothing butch about me.. so you are a hardman huh?
e) wears tracksuits. okay urm once in a blue moon yes. So as you like to generlise i will take my trouser suits/dresses/skirts and shirts and throw them all away..

I find men who have lost their shavers and don't know how to dress with nasty mouths lack class

Personally I would never have one though I have nothing against tattoos, might still get one done yet lol. I do think it looks a bit tacky to be honest but each to their own.

I had my bellybutton pierced and i loved it but the hole got too big so i took the piercing out to let it heal over then gonna get it done again. A lot of people think that looks tacky but like i said, each to their own.

A boob tattoo to me seems to draw attention to your boobs for whatever reason and I have enough problems with guys staring at them without giving them an excuse

i personally find it an unattractive thing!

And so do I.

It sends out so many negative signals about a woman that I cannot think of one positive one.

Tattoos do not enhance anything, no matter where they are on the body.

I have always found tattoos alluring and attractive...mostly on men. That being said i have seen some lovely ones 0n some women.

I always hate the way stereotypes are rolled out regarding so many things on here...tattoos are just another way to do that.

I know people from all walks of life and genders who have tattoos..whilst its not everyones visual cup of tea...id never generalise as to what sort of person they must be becuase they choose body art. I may comment that their taste is poor..but thats only in my opinion.

I have 3 tattoos..and a piercing..one of my tattoos is almost 20 yrs old. My mother nearly had a fit when she knew i had it..as it wasnt lady like and i didnt come from 'that sort' of home she said. Did i worry?...not a jot lol

By the time anyone got to see any of my tattoos..it would already be well well established they liked me...and if that then turned them off...their loss lol

how old are we all? i thought we were past judging people on how they look, what they wear, sexual preference etc. how on earth can something as trivial as tattoo placement give negative signals about anyone? tattoos and piercings are as old as the hills, a tribal urge that's in your blood. you can't explain it to someone who doesn't have tattoos themselves. what about cultures who like face tattoos or lip plates? are they bad people to?

judge not lest ye be judged

Quite easily, actually, in the same way that someone who places tattoos on their person might be doing it to send out positive signals.

After all, why do people have them done? I suspect that nearly 100% of tattooed people think that the tattoos look good. Therefore, it seems perfectly acceptable for them to think that, but no-one is allowed to think that tattoos look naff.

i thought we were past judging people on how they look,

Are we?

I make such judgements all the time, and I suspect that others do, too.

However, read my post again. It refers to the signals that are sent by the tattoo. It does not make any statements about the personality of those who are tattooed.

Believe it or not some of us don't have tattoos for other peoples pleasure but because we want to.

Obviously some of us are not. I mean how old are you really isn't the judgement on how people are percieved because they have a tattoo rather old fashioned. It's okay if you don't like them fair enough but to generlise as alot have done is just narrow minded.

What signals would they be? Considering that it was done for my pleasure and for a reason for me. Could it be the breast/boob whatever you like to call it is placed near the heart? oh so if a man has one on his chest does that represent a signal he gives off?

mmmmmm, lovely but not a boob (or moob) in sight.

Msg 64 also vv lovely!

Personally, although I like tattoos, I think the placement should be considered carefully. Have a tattoo on your tit if that's your thing but for God's sake, make it for full view or no view, there's nothing worse than having half your ink poking out of your neckline. THAT looks cheap and tacky. We're talking body art aren't we? So consider the art.

of course they are. did i say they weren't? your statement was not about liking tattoos or not, it was about, and i quote you, 'women sending out negative signals', and i clearly stated that something like a tattoo on a womans breast has no 'signal' or 'label' that it can send out

I make such judgements all the time, and I suspect that others do, too

you suspect? are you talking from personal knowledge? who are these 'others' that you speak of?

Exactly the right reason for having a tattoo done IMO, no matter where you decide to adorn it, its a personal thing and should matter only to the individual and I doubt a person adorning any tattoo would be looking to attract such a narrow minded, insensitive individual anyway?

Which is why I used the word 'nearly' in my post.

I fully accept that there are tattooed people who think that their tattoos look awful.

I mean how old are you really isn't the judgement on how people are percieved because they have a tattoo rather old fashioned.

Any chance of providing an English version of this statement?

It's okay if you don't like them fair enough but to generlise as alot have done is just narrow minded.

Is it really possible to be 'narrow-minded' whilst 'generalising'?

So, it's okay not to like tattooes, yet it's also narrow-minded not to like them?

Cannot the same be said for those who like tattoos?

What signals would they be?

If I stated any of the negative signals, I can guarantee that some idiot would say 'but I'm not like that at all'.

So I'll pass on that one.

Could it be the breast/boob whatever you like to call it is placed near the heart?

It's near the heart irrespective of whether or not it bears a tattoo.

I was going to keep out of this, as I stated my case on page one.

But I too, would also be interested as to what these negative signals you speak of are?

you are speaking from experience? I like mine :-)

Any chance of providing an English version of this statement?

sure your views are old fashioned is that clearer?

Is it really possible to be 'narrow-minded' whilst 'generalising'?

yes you just proved it

So, it's okay not to like tattooes, yet it's also narrow-minded not to like them?

The narrow minded comes from your statements to what you believe tattoos to be about. You can't seem to identify even if you disagree that they are art and people have them for personal reasons such as a landmark in their lifes.

Cannot the same be said for those who like tattoos?.

yes it can but even in a debate i open my mind to what someone else is saying instead of doing a general that they are considered to be by a certain pedigree of person or what it says about them.

If I stated any of the negative signals, I can guarantee that some idiot would say 'but I'm not like that at all'.

So I'll pass on that one.

so why be as bold as to make the statement if you are going to pass on it?

It's near the heart irrespective of whether or not it bears a tattoo.

you are so missing the point here.. Not only are tattoos a form of art but can be smybol to that person whether it be a dedication to a love one. A mile stone in someones life. Or merely just an appreciation of something..
Tattoos have a history to how it began it's not just merely art. It has a tradition and many meanings. It's not just a simple tattoo!
