How bloody picky are you people?
They way everyone is going on it seems like everyone wants Sears Family Portrait Shots and thats it in the profiles. Whats wrong with a candid picture of someone on a phone? Or someone having a drink?
One: It shows people you have a life outside the inter-web (unlike blurry webcam shots)
Two: I want to know a person knows how to pick up a phone and call me now and then
Three: People look a lot more like themselves in pictures where they aren't posing and smiling uncomfortably like "Take the damn picture"
Yeah if you're going to post a picture giving the finger it's not so endearing... or every picture you're drunk off your ass it may not go over well, but to each their own right? If you're going to dismiss a person strictly because of what they are doing in a photograph then you are going to limit yourself immensly when it comes to people you could be dating.

Posted: 9/30/2008 10:58:16 AM | I see this is an old thread, but I'll comment anyways. New here, or should say back again after a few years. Now the big thing is guys take their pictures with cell phones in the mirror?? How odd. I assume women do the same. (haven't looked at women's ads)

Posted: 9/30/2008 11:26:10 AM | Personally, I think those that take that "candid in the mirror" photo from their cell phones need to know how to aim the damn thing. Look for little reflection of yourself in the lens and push button. Look at the outcome. If you're pleased keep it. If not, lose it and try again. Half the time those mirror shots look bad because the mirror they're shooting into is in desperate need of cleaning.
If you want a picture of yourself in some sort of "candid" pose ask friends or relatives to do it for you | |

not everyone has Digital cameras,,lol I actually have 2 now but didn't at the time not to mention taking pics of yourself and try to look like your not posing is not as easy as it sounds.. | |

Yup I find it very funny! Even better are the ones taken in the bathroom mirror or the room behind them is a terrible mess! The most scary is the one where the room looks like a dungen where they keep their captives!! hehehe
OMG Leeanne, I had to go check my pics to see if I had any of those pics... well not the scary dungeon of course, but the bathroom mirror or room = terrible mess... yeah I'm not proud of taking those pictures, but at the time, that's all I had to put up hahahaha
Oh God- the cell pics... the worst is when you're on a date and all of a sudden they say "Hey want to see a picture of my dog/cat/mom/dad/brother/sister/whatever?"
You say yeah and all of a sudden- its like a roledex hidden within the cell phone, jebus.
