Just show up, some are comming after work. There will be games that you can just jump and of course there is a pool table.
The only games that will need registration are the Euchre and Cribbage Tournament, because once they start, it's hard to jump.
From the look of things, there will be a great tournout of both sexes, and because of the way its organized, it will be easy for all to interact.
Just come out and have fun, who knows, this could start a trend of get togethers.

and i was thinking ohhh ohhhh dangerous got me thinking lol well anyways if this does turn out why not think about having a get together say at least once a month...and if it all goes well....and soon more and more well attend...the way i see it if we had one or 2 in the summer more ppl will come from out of town...just right now for this one well no one knows what the weather holds

why not lift the age bracket and leave it open to all POF people in the area. I used to work at the Falcon the room isn't that big.
Hmmm... I think dantheman has an idea there... if you want more numbers that is! Of course, being ONLY 37 yrs old, I am kind of biased on this one 
In any case, have fun everyone - hopefully the weather holds out and the night has a great turnout!! :) | |

i do agree with alot that has been posted...to me if we are old enough to be on here and your are a memember of POF than there should be no age bracket and not only that the get together aka games nite is downstairs so upstairs is a bar so anyone is welcome there...that is were i will be most of the evening anyways

Posted: 1/31/2008 3:43:58 PM | Sorry guys, there is alot of work and responsibility that goes with putting something on. If it were a dance, there would be no age limit........except for drinking age.........lol
Since I liked the idea of peaple interacting, a game night will let everybody meet and mingle so I wanted it to be in my age bracket. I know that there are alot of younger people that would love a night like this and I would lend anyone the stuff they need to put one on, just send me a email.
I hope all you under 40 generation, understand that this isn't a personal thing and because plenty of fish regulations say that all gathering has to be free, I had to draw the line and I planned a gathering for the over 40 crowd, even tho I am 29 and holding..........lol
Also, the only restriction that POF allows is a age limit. As you can see there is plenty of people over 40 comming and alot that will drop in. The little hall can only hold so much.
BUT I AM CHALLENGING SOMEONE FROM THE UNDER 40 CROWD OR ANYONE THAT BELIEVES IN NO AGE LIMITS TO PUT ONE TOGETHER.

but that only means they cannot go downstairs too the banquet room they still can go upstairs in the bar...because i am sure alot of the ones that are attending well be upstairs and downstairs going back and forth or just staying where they are comfortable
so i think it should be clear that the ones under 40 still can come but upstairs in the bar thats all....
