i think you just have to believe in your own worth
your worth is not determined by what people think of you
it's what YOU think of YOU

Most the time I feel things will work out for the best. On a bad day? I get out my fave music, go for a walk or a drive, try to get in a better mood. Or sometimes I just sulk!

I have noticed that on dating sites, a lot of the women seem to have this perfect image of their prince charming conjured up in their head and they are looking for that guy and thats it. I think that is a big part of why they are single. Obviously, this doesn't apply to everyone but just reading many, many profiles that say a lot of superficial things like - "Don't message me if you don't like big girls" or "I only date spanish guys" or "I don't date anyone over 30" There is nothing wrong with having preferences but if you are going to reject someone you should make sure it is for a good reason and a good reasonis not "you're 31 and my limit is 30" or "you're wearing a cowboy hat"

Women need to open their minds more (I say women because I am a man and I don't read men's profiles)

When I see things like that on someones profile I don't bother to contact them because they obviously have issues that I don't want to try to fix. But I kinda feel sorry for them because if you're that narrowminded then you will miss out on some great friendships and you will never find someone as PERFECT as the person you dream up in your head.

You've only been on the site a short period of time. I think you need to give it more time before passing judgement. Rejection is a fact of life; everybody goes through it.
Good luck.

I am willing to give this a few months at least. Yes it is disappointing when your first 6 attempts at contact get no reply. But I understood before I tried this I would need to have patience.

From my experience the forums are the best part of this site. Just try not to put pressure on yourself thinking you HAVE to find someone. Rejection is gonna happen.........alot, get used to it. If you do find someone special it will be worth it.
