| Oh....My....Gawd! Posted: 1/25/2008 3:42:39 AM | | OMG , that is so freaky, But this doesnt surprise me... | |

| Oh....My....Gawd! Posted: 1/25/2008 4:30:51 AM | V Glad you're ok OP.
Stalkers are a scarey lot. If you're driving , drive to the local PD. If you're walking, well I have a pocket alarm that I've no hesitation setting off should some jackass decided to follow me. Living in an urban area means if someone is following me, it is generally more obvious, in that case I wouldNOT pull into my own driveway, but head for the closest PD.
Don't mess around, even if the 'stalker' is "Just" trying far too hard = you can't know for sure. It could easily be another Bundy. Lotta creepo's out there - male and female!
Be safe! | |

| Oh....My....Gawd! Posted: 1/25/2008 4:47:27 AM | I notice ~OP~ deleted her profile. First time I read the original first post I knew it was too full of holes. People don't read these threads careful enough.I would guess this is a woman that's in a high possition as far as her job.Her grammar is near perfect other than the 3 or 4 dots at the end of each sentence....Take note of these dots.... I seen another profile on here a while back that the grammar was perfect and the spelling and the dots was there...000Missy000....Some of the words used and the wording is what caught my eye.The same day 000missy000 was deleted was the same day Kittygotclaws was created.. hummmmmmmmm This woman is a "WOLF" dressed in "SHEEPS" clothing. PS:I shouldn't have mentioned the dots. She will read this under another profile and stop putting the dots in and will make it harder to figure her out.:modhammer: Maybe she just got sick of you stalking her online and thats why she deleted her profile.BTW,she has every right to delete one profile and create another one.She doesn`t have to tell you about it or ask anyones permission to do so. | |

| Oh....My....Gawd! Posted: 1/25/2008 4:51:41 AM | | Wow you can never be too careful! I am encountering a bit of cyber bullying right now and it's not fun... We should all (men and women) be extra careful about things like this. | |

| Oh....My....Gawd! Posted: 1/25/2008 8:36:37 AM | | my thoughts exactly mogrl. It doesnt even matter if her story is true or not, it at least raises awareness. You hear stories like this every day. Ive been through it and my cousin is now going through it. She even had to talk to the FBI because the guy was stalking her across state lines which is a federal offense. True or not, it drives home what CAN happen. | |

| Oh....My....Gawd! Posted: 1/25/2008 11:49:55 AM | | jim the toolman. I got to wonder about someone who goes to such lengths to try and disprove a stalking claim. "Me thinks thou does protest too much" from the tone of your posts, this has hit a nerve with you. | |

| Oh....My....Gawd! Posted: 1/25/2008 4:03:50 PM | Something about Florida.
I've been stalked, had my tires slashed a couple of times, been threatened, and then some.
I deal with issues by doing research on them.
Top three reasons victims thought the stalking ended: victim relocated, stalker got a new love interest, and police warned stalker.
So here goes...
According to the Stalking Resouce Center
Victims
1 out of every 12 women will be stalked during her lifetime 1 out of 45 men will be stalked during his lifetime 1,006,970 women are stalked annually 370,990 men are stalked annually
Stalkers 94% of stalkers identified by female victims were men 60% of stalkers identified by male victims were men 87% of stalkers overall were men
Other Key Findings 81% of women who were stalked by a current or former husband or cohabiting partner were also physically assaulted and 31% were also sexually assaulted by that partner.
77% of female victims were stalked by someone they knew. 59% of female victims were stalked by an intimate partner.
64% of male victims were stalked by someone they knew. 30% of male victims were stalked by an intimate partner.
Top three reasons victims felt they were being stalked: stalker wanted to control victim, stalker wanted to keep victim in relationship, and stalker wanted to scare victim.
45% of female victims and 43% of male victims were overtly threatened by stalker.
55% of female victims and 48% of male victims reported stalking to police.
13.1% of female victims and 9% of male victims, whose stalkers were charged criminally, had their cases prosecuted.
52.8% of female victims and 60% of male victims had their cases result in a conviction.
28% of female victims and 10% of male victims obtained a protection order. 69% of female victims and 81% of male victims had the protection order violated.
Average duration of stalking reported was 1.8 years; however if stalking involved intimate partners, average duration increased to 2.2 years.
Top three reasons victims thought the stalking ended: victim relocated, stalker got a new love interest, and police warned stalker.
Effects of stalking on victim: 30% of female victims and 20% of male victims sought psychological counseling; 26% of victims lost time from work and 7% never returned to work because of stalking.

| Oh....My....Gawd! Posted: 1/25/2008 4:27:44 PM | ooh.....I'd better stop using multiple dots....lol......
Seriously, though, I have had a real life stalker and one that showed all the signs that he might turn into one. It's very unsettling, nerve-wracking situation, and turned my life completely upside down. I'm fortunate to have a PD close by so I can go if the least suspicious of anyone.

| Oh....My....Gawd! Posted: 1/25/2008 5:32:30 PM | MIDNIGHT CHATTER.I have to wonder why you think it was any great length when a simple click on Kitty's history(before she deleted profile) would be going to great lengths.I simply clicked history and was reading other posts. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to find a dozen holes in her story. The date she had was on the january 4th before 7pm.She was posting on the forums during the hours. So what great lengths are you refering to?Maybe I will look into your history You can look into mine too. Why does someone that uncovers a made up story turn into the bad guy? The great lengths your talking about took me longer to read her thread than it did to pick it to pieces. An MoGrl you are HOT | |

| Oh....My....Gawd! Posted: 1/26/2008 8:50:17 AM | Hey hun....Definitely watch your back...I too learned the hard way. I was just in court on January 2 for a similar situation....
I broke it off with a guy after dating for 2 1/2 months because I couldn't be with someone who didn't trust me. I caught him going through my cell phone and day planner and later found out that somehow he got into my computer. After I broke it off with him I was on the phone one morning about 2 am talking to a friend when I heard a noise. I wasy laying in bed and rolled over and when I did I could see him standing about 2 feet from the end of my bed in the moonlight. Apparently I had forgotten to lock my back door to my house. He had tried the main door, and then went all the way around my house, took off his shoes on the back patio, snuck through my house, past my two young children who were asleep that night on the couches in the living room, up the stairs, sat at the top of the stairs listening to my phone conversation for about 1/2 hour before he came into my room.
Apparently he had tried calling about 11 p.m. and when the phone was busy he decided to drive an hour to talk to me in person.
In the end he thought it was ok for his actions but the judge thoroughly explained to him that it WAS NOT....he got probation and a fine and a no contact order against me and my two girls...
One never knows about a person...even after being with him for 2 1/2 months I know now that I really didn't know him that well afterall!
BE CAREFUL LADIES...there are A LOT of weirdos out there!
|
| Oh....My....Gawd! Posted: 1/29/2008 10:58:56 AM | | Probation and a fine? Jerseygirl, here in Michigan, what he did is called home invasion.... and people do hard prison time for it.... I think you should go back to that judge and tell him to get his head examined. And from now on, when you get ready to go to bed, make a routine of checking to make sure all of your doors and windows are firmly locked. You might also consider a good alarm system. Just my humble opinion, but you already learned a hard lesson.... and thankfully escaped serious harm. | |
