| do men shower? Posted: 5/14/2008 9:37:51 PM | Some guys think it's funny... I knew an older guy once (wore a suit to work and ran a large company)... I think he used to get a kick out of farting in the elevator and trying to make out it was someone else | |

Msg 60: But compare that to women giving a guy a blow job and then kissing him right afterwards. Many women think there's nothing wrong with that. If that's the case, then you ladies won't mind if the guys lick your privates, getting stuff all over their face and then kisses you, right? How is that any different? Are you for real? Let me bring you up to speed here. Most guys have no problem with being kissed after a BJ or even me sharing a l'il with them, although few will openly admit it. And I agree with Msg 77 ... I think it's totally sizzling hot for a guy to do me then kiss me afterwards ... it completes the act for me.
Bad breath? Offer them gum or mints. If they don't want any, keep insisting & eventually they'll ask, "Why? Do I have bad breath?" & you can tell them. As far as stinky guys, I had a close friend who had incredibly wretched B.O. When I couldn't take it any longer, I asked him if he had forgotten to use his deodorant or anti-perspirant & he said he didn't use either because he showered daily. Silence ... then he asked "Why, do I smell bad?" So I told him he did. Turns out he was also wearing the same shirt like 3 or 4 times before washing it. The next day he bought deodorant & washed all his shirts. Problem solved.
Tyeee: I had a b/f refuse to wash his hands after using the potty even after I told him that was gross, so I refused to go out with him anymore. Problem solved. I also disinfect doorknobs, faucets & the flusher on the toilet regularly which many people forget to do.

| do men shower? Posted: 5/16/2008 1:27:55 AM | I shower twice daily, sometimes three if I had two workouts that day. Most of my girlfriends have considered it weird that I shower more than them.
Btw, do girls here prefer soap/body wash smell, or cologne smell on their dudes?
|
| do men shower? Posted: 5/16/2008 1:38:13 AM | i shower but then again i am a construction worker and an mma fighter so i tend to get dirty and sweaty | |
|
| do men shower? Posted: 5/16/2008 11:59:42 AM | there is such a difference between being dirty and smelling from a job or workout then being dirty and smelling from being unhygenic.. BIG DIFFERENCE!! Gentlemen, know that difference... embrace it! it could mean the difference between gettin' lucky or not
to the question posted earlier; soap smell with a hint of cologne, same for women.. soap with hint of perfume

| do men shower? Posted: 5/22/2008 7:31:21 AM | | men dont shower, lol, what kinda stupid question is that, lol. Not 'cause you had a bad experience that men dont shower. Maybe before you bring a man home the first night, you should make sure that he shower, lol. | |
|
| do men shower? Posted: 5/22/2008 10:02:01 AM | heheh, for both sexes, there's always a group that seem to be... hygiene impaired.
But if a guy OR gal can't be bothered to clean up before a date, that's pretty disrespectful.
OTOH, Matthew McConaughey (actor) is well known for not showering and being stinky, and yet he's still considered a hottie.... people are just weird, I guess.
|
| do men shower? Posted: 5/22/2008 11:09:26 AM | | Just ask, what is that body scent on you, or, ya can say, how do you feel about physical hygiene, or ya can be straight up front with him, and say, hey man, don't you ever shower or bath. | |
|
| do men shower? Posted: 5/22/2008 11:49:30 AM | If a guy really stinks as in you know he doesn’t shower then tell him. I have a buddy that showers only when he can smell that he’s dirty. I never understand why he’s like this but we tell him all the time that he stinks. Like what’s so hard about jumping in the shower everyday? What drives me nuts is people that think deodorant and body spray are just as good as a shower. | |
|
| do men shower? Posted: 5/22/2008 1:51:16 PM | I just got out of the shower. Most people shower.
Maybe you should start looking for guys that aren't sleeping on the streets. you might find that they smell better
|
| do men shower? Posted: 5/22/2008 2:48:52 PM | | I didn't shower today. I'm not dirty. If I'm not dirty, I don't shower. I just groom my three basic areas: hair, teeth and a$$hole. And to save time, I use the same brush. | |

| do men shower? Posted: 5/23/2008 10:46:11 AM | If a guy really reeks, 4 possibilities: 1) he has no sense of smell & is unaware of the problem. 2) he could have a medical problem, that is causing it. 3) he is an uncouth slob & just doesn't care about it. 4) he doesn't think it is a real problem &/or is in denial 5) or he doesn't have access to one, for some reason
My first husband had a serious BO problem, but he thought it was normal & wouldn't see a Dr. about it. I asked my Dr., he said it sounded like infected sweat glands, or possibly the onset of diabetes.

| do men shower? Posted: 5/23/2008 12:23:13 PM | I've known a few people in my lifetime that stink to high heaven, some stink for actual medical reasons and others just have poor hygiene, ick, gross..... A little bit off topic but applicable I think.....Has anybody else been smelling some of the cheapo after shaves and body wash's etc?? Even some perfumes will knock you over,,,,yuck, just as bad as BO | |

| do men shower? Posted: 5/23/2008 8:43:33 PM | ^^^^ and before you spray....test it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ...juppers , and the girls too, some are worse than guys who haven't seen soap in a month... | |

I don't understand why a guy (or gal) won't invest $60-$80 in a bottle of half-decent cologne that will make them smell trés délicieu & more appealing to women. Only a light dab is needed so one bottle could easily last a couple of years if used properly. Axe, Brut & other cheap after shaves suck as bad as those brand name knock-offs. Best to invest in the real thing & find the one that blends with your body's natural odor nicely.
I think it might just be easier to take a shower. Plus if you are using cologne to mask body odour, it smells bad, bad, bad. Also, a lot of places are scent free because many people have allergies to scents. However, I agree - FAS - a hint of fragrance is nice on people who smell fresh to begin with.

| do men shower? Posted: 5/24/2008 9:56:55 AM | Yup, nothing like a good scrub down from top to bottom, is always needed.
A good hot shower, sudsing up with a bar of scented Irish Spring soap, along with some scented body shampoo while your at it, does the trick, to get that squeaky clean, feeling, will make you feel, and smell like a new man.
Scrub, and shampoo, that hair at least twice, to get rid of that grease, and flaky dandruff, with a scented shampoo.
Besides, when has that grease ball or a flaky look ever been of any fashion style hit.
NOT!
However, that hmmmmm, hmmmm, ohhhhhhh, soooooooooooooo, softly scented, groomed hair, sure has.
Don't need that porcupine look, with a 5 0'clock shadow.
So shave them whiskers off, and slap on some freshly scented aftershave.
Yup, a well shaved face is much more appealing to the touch and to smell.
With your face having a clean shaved look, and scented with an aftershave lotion splashed on will look good on you, and give you that sexually, and sensually appealing smell and look.
And finally, a couple of good swipes of scented deodorant, underneath them armpits, for the finishing touch.
Nothing worse then smelling like you have juuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuust come out of the gym after a workout, having smelly armpits, is there now.

| do men shower? Posted: 5/30/2008 2:01:42 PM | This is one of my pet peeves. People, seriously personal hygiene is NOT OPTIONAL!
I once loved a man who would shower every 2-3 days and although he did not smell his hair would get greasy. It was one of the many deal breakers. Great guy but if I can't stand to look at him, no thanks. And what sucks about it was the fact that he is a very handsome man, just did not take proper care of himself and i'm not his Mommy, I shouldn't have to remind him to shower or brush his teeth like I do with my kids.
