| Losing weight - has anyone tryed weight tablets? Posted: 3/4/2008 9:36:54 AM | There are anorexiant pills out there. And YES they work if they are prescribed by your physician... however before you are given a prescription by your doctor, you must meet a certain criteria. Your BMI must be over 30, or there has to be other health issues related to weight. What the other posts have said is the problem with them is that as soon as you stop taking them.. you regain the weight. That is the truth. If you feel the need to lose weight.. watch what you eat, get some exercise, and your body will get to the weight where you feel the most comfortable. JMO | |

| Losing weight - has anyone tryed weight tablets? Posted: 3/4/2008 12:13:03 PM | | Like I said before, make it a "lifestyle change" , and stop looking for an overnight fix, because just as fast as it might come off, it will come back just as fast because you didn't "change" your body and metabolism overall. If you make it a lifestyle change, it sticks with you through out the rest of your life, so think about it. And the older you get the more that nutrition, good health, smart eating and exercize becomes more and more critical as the years go up....so don't just look at the next year look at the next 10 | |

| Losing weight - has anyone tryed weight tablets? Posted: 3/5/2008 8:37:14 AM | when a person tries eating less: -the body believes it is time for rationing... it responds by storing fat to be used when food absolutely runs out not only that but eating foods from more than 1 food group stresses out the bodies use of enzymes. the stomach can only produce certain enzymes at any 1 meal. not only that, but, the digestion requires energy. so while trying to sleep on a full stomach(snack 1 hr before bed can't hurt) a proper rest is interfered with. therefore to lose weight: a person needs to: 1 eat more often 2 eat 1 food group at a time 3 exercise 4 stop eating 4 hrs before bed (probably more like 1/2 hr before bed like swimming) the body thinks it is getting enough nourishment... therefore: -it better able to digest food from 1 group -exercise helps the body to apply nutrition to muscle instead of fat and always keep in mind that muscle weighs more than fat | |
