| New Relationships....harder in the winter? Posted: 1/7/2008 9:31:16 AM | I am in PA, right outside of Allentown and I can name a million things for anyone around here to do within an hour or 2 drive which can be a great start and and end to a date...shopping in SoHo, discovering some of the awsome art exhibits or history museums, a Broadway show, a show in Atlantic City, gambling in AC, there are a million clubs to dance the night away in NY or Philly, check out your local community college for classes, local Y for indoor swimming, Dave and Buster's in Philly, acting like a couple of kids in a local science and technology museum... need I go on? Roller skating, ice skating, bowling, basketball, a snowball fight, sledding... I think it might be a little more difficult because everyone is so overwhelmed during the winter, but it isn't for a lack of things to do. Think outside the box a bit and get out there to DO things...it really helps to make everyone get over the winter blahs too!
Oh, and lets not forget pedicures/spa time can make for a fantastic date too! :P

You can cuddle and such, and get to know eachother on a personal level more likely when it's too cold to be outside, and then, I always joke that, if you are a big girl, the winter is the best way to get a guy. They won't deny cuddling with a nice warm body, but when summer comes, they run after the skinny ****es! Of course, that has never happened, but I think it's funny.

Posted: 1/7/2008 1:50:11 PM | | Winter is a great time to build those relationships...There are alot of things to do indoors....here we have the Museum of Science (went last weekend), the Museum of Art (was going to go this weekend, but had a cold), bowling (that will keep you laughing at each other if neither of you are good at it), movies at the theater, short walks to a local coffee shop, and nothing better than to get the blood running than a good old-fashioned snowball fight...Of course, you both could let your childish side come out and build a snowman together...there are also outdoor ice skating rinks (even if your just watch and enjoy a few cups of hot chocolate together). What about making some cookies together and then enjoy the treats with a special-flavored coffee you both like...putting a jigsaw puzzle together...all such simple little things that just allow you to enjoy each other's company...
