Posted: 4/7/2008 3:18:23 AM | I have 2 both tribal/Celtic. My first was on my right hip and was just 'cos it was pretty. My 2nd is a vertical 1 on my left arm, shoulder down. I got this done on 28/12/1998 at about 2.30pm - clearly it's significant to me. I've been working on the real one for several years but haven't completed the design, the only constant is it will say 'defiant' in Bengali script, the bat part is a work in progress.
I'm currently toying with something as a memento of my mum, but that too is a work in progress and my are they addictive.

Posted: 4/7/2008 5:52:12 AM | I had my fourth one done on Saturday, it's a bit difficult to explain, but it's gorgeous!
It's 3 stars (each inside the other) with 2 more slightly above and either side with little beads leading down to the main one.
I've had it done on the inside of my right forearm and although it's a bit sore at the moment, I love it! | |

It take my 2years to think of what tattoo to have .I was not just going to a tattoo place and pick one i like to think long and hard be for geting done so i pick tribal warrior tat.
My 2nd tat is on my lower left arm it is dragon 4 inches long . got i done 7years ago i pick this tat becos i like the art work on it.
My 3 tat is on my lower right arm it is a reaper it got a cowboy hat on and it got 3 playing cards and a gun and it say on the tat born to lose it is about 10 inches i got the tat guy to make me a costom made one.
next one be done on the 25 april it a custom made one for me it is going to be a houreglasse it going have glasse look like skulls and have to wings at the side of the hourglasse | |

He used to be based opposite the Palace on Slater Street, but has a 1st floor studio on Bold Street now - can't remember his name sorry. He is a brilliant artist and can produce anything from your ideas PLUS and this is very useful, he doesn't chatter on at you, you'll be thankful of that if you're there for more than an hour. I would recommend Louis Malloy. He has/had a tattoo studio in Middleton , Manchester, M24. I had my last two done by him a few years ago now. I had to wait on a list and pay a bit more but I'm pleased now that I did. He's internationally known and won an array of titles. Tattooed David Beckham back with a cross & Brooklyn amongst other celebs/rock stars etc.Try google search, I'm sure there will be some info on him and other reputable artists in the North.West.
Just bear in mind its going to be there for the rest of your life so choose carefully. I hope that helps. Good luck. | |

Posted: 4/9/2008 2:47:10 PM | My first tat was self inflicted with a single needle and thread twisted around it to hold the India ink on. My mother told me it would be over her daed body that I got another one. So, I dedicated my flaming roses with cross to my mother's memory. It still needs to be JAZZED up some to finish off my dedication. I was sober and the artist told me my skin was just like boot leather.
I've got 1 more tat I wish to have. Its a Bright red pair of lips on my round ass cheek that has the words; You're to F**kin' late, circling it!!! Kinzy was the artist that did my first color tat here in Cheyenne,Wy.

i have 1 on boob a rose through love heart,1 each shoulder 2 love hearts flowers round and scroll with daughters names
a sun with smiley face and sons name ,1 between shoulders angel wings with angel wrote in centre,2 at bottom of my back one tribal and one vine leaf with flower in centre and 1 on foot going from ankle down foot and over the top with 4 flowers  | |

Posted: 4/10/2008 5:10:32 AM | I had a cover up done on a largish dragon tattoo (which is between my shoulder blades) at the end of last week - and it itches SOOOOOOOOO much at the moment! It's now a bold tribal design which actually looks more like a dragon than the original did........
My son is drawing me something at the moment which my tattoo artist will tinker with if required (not seen it yet but I trust his judgement, he's got good taste), so as soon as that's done I'll have that inked on too.
Got a couple of others planned.
A couple of others I currently have need a little modification too
The back piece is coming together nicely :)

top left arm winnie the pooh with my eldests name (i love that bear)
topright arm , a rose (first one when i was 17 )
right arm again a band with all 3 of my kids names
belly button (can kinda see it in a pic on my profile
left leg :mum(she sadly passed away in 2002)
right leg :dolphin (love the creatures)
why do i have them where i do , no reason really but i dont regret a single one of them , im waiting on my fella to design me a tattoo for my back , thats if im brave enough to have one on there lol , am also after a nice angel to go with my mum tattoo | |

Me and my best mate went to town one day and she said 'hey lets get a tatt' and I sad- yeah ok then............
Unfortunatly there was no time to chicken out as the tattooist knew my dad! and was like 'hey ur daves daughter- sure I can fit you both in now'

The pit bull came when a mate said he wanted a tattoo cos I was the only one of us with one, but he wouldn't have it done unless I had one done first. Guess he just didn't wanna sound soft if he was to start screaming lol | |

She is in black and white and does look a little worse for wear after almost 20 years.
Why did I have it done? I liked her and wanted to take her home.
However if I would ever come into some serious money I would find myself a truely good artist and have a back piece done. (and I dont mean one of those little ones)
