| St Louis and all POF's Float trip June 6th to the 8th Posted: 2/25/2008 5:41:24 AM | Hey everyone, I have just been waiting for an event like this. I do almost all my canoeing by myself in the middle of the week because of the days I have off from work. This has been planned far enough in advance so I can plan to have those days off. Summer time you will find me in my canoe, floating and fishing every chance I get. I am sooooooo looking forward to meeting other "POF'rs" at an event like this. If you have never been on the North Fork River you are in for a treat. It is a beautiful river with clear water and a lot of places to play along the way. For those of you that have never been on a river like this.....you will need to be sure you have an experienced partner....and don't forget your life vest. Important note for those of you that drink in glass bottles...forget that and get it in cans. Sometime MDC or Water Patrol check coolers at the launch point. That goes for condiments that you might put in glass, none of it is allowed to go down river. See you all there. | |
