Its not that bad of a river LOL.it is nice to have some one with some experience in the boat.But most of the poffers will be rafting on the lowwer sections.my self and other experience's paddlers will be floating.From the camp ground at twin bridge's down to blair bridge.Were the rafters will be starting at blair bridge.And it is very true NO GLASS what so ever in your raft or boat and and remember NO AIR HORNS no jello shots LOL.I have seen the MDC and the Forest Service and I have even seen the Coast gaurd since the first 3/4 of the river is in the Mark Twain national Forest and it belongs to the national seinic river patroling the river and they don't don't play games.

Thanks it will be a while till I'm able to go to work since I have a open wound right now.And I'll be on home care for another 3 weeks hooking my self up to an IV every 6 hours.But I'll be ready and healty for our float thats for shure LOL so thatns for your concerne for me it really make me feel better.

Girl I know the feeling.We have had such a crappy winter this year with all the ice storms and all the snow.I can't wait till spring is here so I can get my chubbie white butt out and do something before I get a real bad case of cabin fever LOL.

It's the same thing here my sisters I am so tryed of the cold rain and snow and the cold too.I can't wait till spring LOL But spring officaly starts Thursday LOL and it's going to be 55 with rain showers LOL.But all the rain we get now it will soak in the springs and by mid summer all the river's that would be normaly loww like last year all will have more water for floating LOL.

I can handle the rain but I'm sure tired of the cold.......I can hardly wait til summer now looks to be very promising indeed. It was the talk of town at Funky Town on Saturday night.......I just keep inviting everyone I talk to......heck we even invited a fine looking man at the community center/dry sauna to come hang out with us. Guess they'll be plenty that weekend

Well Gigi I was doing the same thing at the Stratford Friday night.At our St.Paddy Day party.Going around while I was talking with everyone telling them about the float trip.I even put out a Twin Bridge's borchour out on the table with all of the name tags.And I seen quite of folks looking at it.So I believe that we will have a lot of fish swimming with us.

Well we still need more rain!!!!.what we got was too much too fast it never got a chance to soak into the ground it ran off into the rivers and now look at all the flooding going on thats not good for no one specaily all the ones that live close to ant of the rivers flooding.

I think we've got enough rain today that we can go floating in mine & my neighbors backyards! & it's still raining thats the float I want to do - her back yard, lol.... I will beout of town on BACA business that weekend..but I have a float closer to St Louis a couple weeks after this... but I hope everyone has fun

Super cusoon this is a excellent river for a float it has a little bit for everyone.It has the flat pools for a laid back beer in one hand sections and the splish splash get your face wet sections LOL. SYOTR(see you on the river)
