All are welcome the more the merrier.
Will be worth the drive to meet and play with new friends.
Campouts and floats are much better than a party or get together because you get to know people better when spending a weekend outdoors having fun.

Yep camp outs and float trips are better.meet and greets are good But they only last just a few hours and you never get a chance to meet everyone. At lest camping you all have the entire weekend to sit down at the fire and chat at the end of the day.and have a couple of relaxing drinks roast some dogs or make smore's around the fire. But if there are camp fire's at some of the camp site's being the host I GOT DIB'S ON ALL THE UP WIND CAMP FIRE'S LOL I think that I should remind everyone to make they're reservations soon if any one are getting cabins.Twin bridge's only has a hand full. But lots and lots of camp site's so thats not a problem.I'm not shure were we will be at.The group site of what LOL.So if any of you ladys would like to be a co-host and share a site with me let me know(A wink and a hint LOL J/K) about sharing a site LOL.But if you tent camping they well be space at mine LOL.

Ok Bryon I took it the camping was per person or is it per tent,Please let me know.
last year we could have two tents on one lot but more than four people would cost extra. That was at Stockton lake though,so just wondering how it work at this campground.

Thinking about going, Sounds like a friggin BLAST!!! now i just need to find out if i can get off from work that weekend. I'm a Camper and an avid floater I'm a great canoer...

How is the Canoe situation, are we all getting our own, or responsible for getting partners, etc... ... how does this work???

Hi all far as I know it's pretty standard 8$ per person per site but I don't know how many tents they let on per site .You may have to call and find out when you make your reservations they could tell you much more that I can.But I'll send an E-mail too just in case some one asks the same question. And as for canoeing you'll be responcable for finding your oun float partners your selfs.Unless you want to canoe solo I know lots of the woman are rafting I'm kayaking but just start hitting everyone up that has signed up and ask around I'm sure you'll find a float partner. But it would be nice to place non paddlers with experence paddlers LOL.so everyone start asking for partners because I know there will be others looking for partners too.OK well SYOTR Bryon

Guess I better get on it since it's getting closer and closer...... it's my bday that weekend so come ready to party......I think we may go to Springfield and spend the night on Thursday then get up early Friday morning and come to campground.....we took Friday and Monday as vacation days so we could play hard and then rest before going back to work.........

Do I have to wear a life jacket?

I'm really looking forward to meeting all you POF'ers. This is my kind of event!

My plans are tentative because my work is seasonal, and this is the season. Are you floating all three days? Which would be the best day if I can only attend Friday or Saturday?

No you don't have to wear a life vest. But its a state and federal that there will be a life vest for every person in the boat but its your choice to wear one or not. Most of us will be floating saturday and sunday. My self I'm heading down on Thursday so I can set my camp site up and do a float on bryant creek before everyone comes down.

Hi RN this is the first POF float trip that I know of.And your the first to ask about childern.I realy don't see why not. But I must warn you that there will be alot of drinking and partying going on and i don't know if you would like your kids exposed to it.The reason there are price's for childern I just copyed and pasted all the price's for everything. The North Fork river is much more milder than the Buffalow so its a eazy river to float for a novice floater.

If I come down on Thursday can I float Bryant with you? I've been down it many times, but I love it because it's so quiet and uncrowded.

Hi there!
I have my own kayak, is it ok to bring our own or will that mess up the transport back up river? If we can bring our own, is there a fee for that?

You said, "But I'll be floating in a solo, though." It sounded like a warning. Friday is probably ok, but I won't really know until some time in late May.

The reason I want to float Bryant in a small group is that I don't go kayaking to see the canoes, rafts, or drunks. I like to feel that I'm interacting with nature and let the river fill me with its essence.

Have you ever heard of or floated La Cache de Poudre in Colorado?
