I am probably a weird one here but wondering how many people when getting an email from someone they have had no contact through POF as yet actually click on the profile first and then decide if they want to read that email at all?
Clicking on the profile first then reading the mail indicates you are interested in looks only OP? I like to read what they have to say first, no point in having looks if they havent got any intellect or humour is there? | |

What is the point in crafting an outstanding 1st mail, when the chances are very high that it'll be read + not replied, deleted or blocked by trigger happy fishies?
I do occasionally send out handcrafted stuff - and then  you don't see them for dust!
People are more than profiles - profile didn't get your pulse racing? Another potentially nice guy you missed out on. | |

No, I am interested in age, where are they from and what are they looking for...generally if they as a person match who I am looking for, looks included.

I click on the profile first then I read the message.
If all profiles were without photo's I would still read the profile first and then the message. I'm simply interested first to see how a person describes themselves in their profile.
I have very little interest in the wrapper only the contents. So I must disagree with your assumption. | |

Posted: 1/8/2008 9:59:33 AM | I read the mail first. I never respond to mail without a picture because yes I am shallow. I need to at least fancy them a bit physically to reply. Yes I'm shallow and I don't care what people think of that, nothing wrong with that in my opinion. The profile has to good as well as the mail and the picture though, I'm looking for the package not just a pretty face as it were.
I always reply to people from the forums, unless they're being abusive but that's a whole other story. I also always reply to those that email me about meets I might have mentioned in my profile, even if it is only to direct them to the party thread. | |

I state I do not do MSN,but what do they say? do you have MSN? I wish members would read the profile instead of just picture looking,and I get youngsters when I stated the age group  | |

sorry, i jus wondered y u feel the need 2 appear on the forums n tell every1 ur deleting messages n blocking people.
Oh well if i cant beat em join em, I just recieved a message off an attractive young lady, shes a size 10 super model, 34 D breasts, blonde, georgeous body, she asked me if i would like 2 come over for the evening, she told me she was going 2 cook me steak and chips and her fridge was full of lager n I could help myself and then we would round the evening off with passionate sex following by kinky sex.
