Gas we used that day (both took cars ) was ~5 dollars. It doesn't count if you neglect the gas! We walked through the park (free) and thus had cash left over from the theoretical 40 for date #2, which was home cooked by me :-) and still within the 40 dollar total budget, including a decent bottle of wine (the dinner btw was also Indian cuisine). It is always gratifying to meet someone who doesn't care that one is a professional and has a nice car, who cares more that one is smart and funny :-) IMHO the cheapest dates are usually the very best- it is not about money in the long run, it is about quality. | |
