I can't decide and I have to confer with my fellow travelers....

Planning on doing the resort thing for new years: Jamaica, Fiji, Turks and Caikos (sp?).....gotta do some research. | |

Posted: 4/18/2008 7:05:55 AM | Just came back from Italy (family wedding) , the south east coast side - Molise is the region and I am ALWAYS stunned by the beauty of the place. It is still relatively undiscovered by the tourist trade and outshines Tuscany in every sense
Well worth a visit if anyone is thinking of a Southern Italian trip.
Summer is going to spent lounging in Goa - can't wait!!!!! Purely for the culture of course, nothing to do with the beaches and cheap cigarettes  | |

I'm going to Paris in September to celebrate my 50th birthday in style. I have friends there and can't wait to see them! Other than that, just a few weekends in Montreal to see family/friends and a few day trips in Ontario.
Next year I want to travel to Tunisia but then Portugal caught my fancy, then Morocco, then... I don't know anymore! lol | |

I'll probably take a road trip. Been to 48 states and only need MI and AK to say I have been to all 50. My cash flow is no where near where it was in years past, so any travel plans will be faitly minor.
I see where I posted this the first week into the year. Now 4 1/2 months later I plan to go to Spain, Italy, France and Malta on a cruise in May. Woo hoo!!! | |

I hear very good things about the beaches and fishing as well as the villages around it. Being from NY I was about to loose a week of my timeshare on RCI so I booked the week before Xmas at the Manhattan club in NYC. Guess I'll goto the city that I was borned in for a week of Something - probably a few plays, nightlife. | |

I'm planning to circumnavigate in a sailboat, slowly. See the world. I'd be off already but I have one too many big sailboats, need to sell the old 38 footer before leaving.

Posted: 6/11/2008 6:05:24 PM | OP - I've just booked another trip (shame on me). I'm going to Barbados over Labor Day. I am in great need of holiday to rest my weary bones. I've already booked a trip to Galapagos Islands over Thanksgiving (via Gap Adventures).
When I received my weekly email from Sherman's Travels, the trip to Barbados was too good to pass up.
I'm getting a 5 day (including airfare from DFW), all inclusive @ Sandy Bay Beach Club for $1,046 (which includes the taxes). I'm very excited!! I will be blogging about this trip on my travel blog. Granted, 2 days are travelling, but I think 3 days is good enough to do R & R, and get some snorkeling in! One of the days, I've booked a trip (driving) around the island, which will include lunch, and some rum punch. I'll pack my fins & snorkel gear, and just have fun! This girl just wants to have fun! | |
