TOP SECRET RECIPE #1

Teryaki sauce is properly water, brown sugar and soy sauce
It's noting to do with snobbery, I just don't see the point on anybody buying teryaki sauce and contributing to the world collection of empty glass jars
Hmmm, what does your soy sauce come in? A recycled brown paper bag? And that wax paper and box wrapped around your brown sugar? And the water? Is that tap water, thereby depleting the local supply or was that BOTTLED water?

KFC Cole Slaw

Ingredients:

1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup buttermilk
2 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 1/2 tablespoons white vinegar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
8 cups finely chopped cabbage (about 1 head)
1/4 cup shredded carrot (1 medium carrot)
2 tablespoons minced onion

Instructions:

1. Be sure cabbage and carrots are chopped up into fine pieces (about the size of rice).

2. Combine the mayo, sugar, milk, buttermilk, lemon juice, vinegar, salt and pepper in a large bowl and beat until smooth.

3. Add the cabbage, carrots and onion, and mix well.

4. Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours before serving.

Serves 10-12.

I made this for Thanksgiving and it was such a hit everyone asked if I could make it again for Christmas.

I didn't put any onions in and for the carrots, I just added as needed.

Came out tasting exactly like KFC.
