Well it could be he was working for the CIA or NSA and got all the incriminating information he needed to wire tap your phone and put you under 24 hour surveillance.
Look out your window and see if there is a utility van parked at the corner.

Maybe he went away for awhile. Maybe he had surgery and isn't up to the computer. Maybe Anything is possible. Could be something completely innocent. Could be ..

I am now curious to know who is in the top ten and how they got there.

Yes this happened to me last week. Only I didn't think they was an azzhole. They was a bad girl in the forums and got banned from posting and they deleted their profile and created another to gain back their posting rights.
Make sure your profiles not hiden like mine was/is from a serch.They might be looking for you.
Then on the flip side,, they might have found the person of their dreams. But don't give up hope. Sometimes them women/men of their dreams becomes the women/men of their nightmares  | |

I've deleted mine twice. This is my third round on POF. The first time I deleted it because there was an a$$hole who wouldn't leave me alone. It didn't matter how many times I blocked his ID because he would just create a new one. That time, I deleted and didn't let anyone know. I was just gone.
The second time, I didn't have a jerk pestering me but I got tired of the site and the drama. I had been talking to a guy and he started declaring his love for me and talking about how we need to 'make a go of it' etc. It got annoying real fast. So, I hid my profile for a bit and then, after I had let a couple of friends I'd made on here know, I deleted my account.
This guy could have gotten sick of the site. Could have gotten caught by his wife/so etc. The reasons go on and on.
The point is, he's gone and didn't think enough of you to email you and let you know. Clearly his interest wasn't what he made it seem.
Move on and forget him. | |

* found someone else either on this site or elsewhere;
* feels that the site is not working for him and has chosen to remove his profile - either temporarily or permanently;
* was not bona fide in his intentions (e.g. was seeking an affair and was caught);
* did something that caught the attention of a POF moderator who chose to delete his profile (unsure if mods actually do this)
if a person wants to break off communication with someone on POF they can easily do it by simply BLOCKING a user. they don't have to remove their profile, that's akin to moving house because a person (whom was once dated) knows that they still live there. That is, its an extreme measure to take and unlikely. | |

Posted: 6/9/2008 6:15:16 AM | When someone automatically assumes that it's a "A**hole" thing when another individual avoids them and you discard the possibility that you could be at fault -- then it sends off a huge red flag in my mind that you could be emotionally needy (your reaction is way over the top).
He deleted an online profile! Big Deal!
Maybe the content of your online exchange with him provided him with grounds to be concerned that you could be emotionally demanding.
He has simply decided to make himself not easily available for you to locate.
Is that really so hard to ACCEPT and comprehend? | |
