This isn't true.....Libraries only has one A in the middle, so that means that Libra & aries are joined not side by side.

K i got one, say u picked apples for ur mom or w.e, and u were on ur way home and u all of the sudden came accross this bridge that can only hold up to ur bodyweight and 4 apples.. and u picked 5 apples, so u cant take all 5 or the bridge will break and u would die,, but there is one way u can do this and u will get all 5 apples across plus ur self safely.
no u cant throw accross the bridge, or eat one
How do you know it can only take your body weight and 4 apples? And what sort of apples are they? Are they Granny Smiths? If so, you deserve for the bridge to break if you stole her apples.

| Riddle.......... Posted: 1/9/2008 2:24:53 PM | I would think "Sod it, I dont really like apples anyway" and go to sleep on the side of the river. I would then get up in the morning, drink all of the water and then walk across the empty pond thing.
I think Terry's suggestion of having a poo was the best idea.
|
| Riddle.......... Posted: 1/9/2008 2:29:45 PM | | I personally would cross the bridge with all 5 apples, then let the bridge break, and then get hurt and think who in their right mind builds a bridge so weak (think of the americans)? Then sue them for negligence, then buy apples from tesco and get them delivered, sorted. | |
|
| Riddle.......... Posted: 1/9/2008 3:35:53 PM | w.e. must surely mean 'whatever'.
What is to stop one making more than one crossing of this bridge?
Is there a prize for translating the OP?

| Riddle.......... Posted: 1/10/2008 12:58:00 PM | Strange the things you think of in the bath of a morning.
I reckon you'd fall in the water anyway. But I am not sure my physics is up to proving it. Or my English up to explaining the argument, but here goes.
Every action has an equal and opposite reaction.
In order to overcome gravity and throw one of the 5 apples in the air the equal and opposite reaction would impart the force required to lift the apple against gravity (its weight converted to energy) onto the bridge - thus imposing the weight of the 5th apple onto the bridge. And we know it is a very sensitive bridge. Bobbing for apples anyone?
I feel my argument should be wrong - can anyone prove it?
