| HOw long have you been here and how many dates have you been on?

I have been on about 30 dates or so... I have also dated one girl for 4 months, another one for 2 months and I am currently dating a wonderful girl going on 2 months now...
Have met a ton of people at all the POF functions and parties and I encourage everyone to get out there and mingle... you just never know what kind of friendship or relationship can materialize from that... | |

have not met anyone yet since. Dunno if I will really. After all the horror stories guys and women tell...might just chat and if i meet only to make a new friend? Too much is expected upon a first meeting these days anyhow.

but as for others....maybe your not dating cause your options are limited?? it starts with conversations....an yet most dont know how to contribute to that alone. sure they message you a few times an then thats it..they disappear...so how do you get to know another by writing a few words?
if you are interested in another...try concentrating on them ...give them the effort an your time..be surprised at your results. ferget what others said...go by your own instincts. i dont go by what others say... its to easy for most to say things ...but in my opinion...i give them the benifit of doubt an my time....cause maybe theyre not for you but theyre for me...who knows right? another thing is ....no ones willing to do long distance thing...never know with the right person can be all worth it. maybe the expectations are little to high for yourselves...try tweeking them alittle....you know...meeting them doesnt mean your gettin married...besides you never know!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

^^^ maybe shes right here infront....have you thought bout that? many have told you ...thats you are a good looking guy....problem is...you dont believe them or in yourself. i think there are to many being blind to see anothers interest in them....goes right over their heads. pretty simple to see signals...an yet...we dont see them.

Posted: 6/23/2006 3:45:23 PM | On POF, about 8 months, and one "non-date" (as she put it) that lasted 8 hours, with one "hang out" at my place, and a third meeting scheduled - all with one person. That's it.
Including other sites I've been on (1+ years), add 2 more people - one meeting each: One classical dinner+movie, but no encore, and one ""date"" where she solicited me ($300/hr). For the latter, if one counts the follow-up meetings with the police (I reported her), then that's a relationship! 
I've also had two others who had phone conversations for 1 hour or more, but no subsequent meeting. [One decided not to, and the other had scheduling conflicts we never resolved.]

There have been lots of emails and thats been fun, but it seems that after a couple they disappear. Probably because my topics are not their cup of tea. Sometimes its me that dosen't answer and thats usually because I can see that they only want one thing. But thats ok, because somewhere out there is a guy that will know what I am talking about, I just have to find him. It may not be here, but ya gotta keep believing and leave no stone unturned. We are all looking for someone who will see us as a truly wonderful human being. Aren't we? | |

The seventh - well, I don't have anything good to say about that one. So, seven weeks; six nice ladies and one big dud - I've got no complaints. | |

An hour or so travel is ok occasionally but not all the time (unless he is the one doing it lol)... Hopefully I'll find more local guys! If not... guys who do the traveling! lol | |

Talked to some, have some on MSN, talked to this really nice girl I went to school with who happens to live like right behind me.
