Um...no, you don't know if your online interest was based on fact or fiction until you actually meet face to face. I think a lot of people are completely dishonest in their profiles or at the very least misleading. I have personally been duped by old and fake pics as well as people who left little details out of their bio and email....like smoking, drugs, being married.....having lost their driver's license due to DUI ("cop was an **hole"), gaining 80lbs etc etc. The first meet is to just sort through the bs and see who you are actually talking to.
Besides, interest has to work both ways. A lot of guys are really put off by my muscle...(guess it is time for new pics) so why should I expect them to commit to anything more than 30mins or so? I can't imagine anything more awkward than having dinner with some guy who is making comments like..."gee, I bet you could bench press me" "you could likely whip my butt in an arm wrestle" etc etc..it is bad enough to sit through that crap over coffee. | |

One was really fun We hit it off!  met in real life I was careful to not say/do anything that would give him the impression I was "easy"  I can have an "adult"sense of humor and am very sexual-  so I have learned that gives the wrong signals.... so we were gonna get together the next week end....(3 more dates he would have scored)  then on the second pleasant email I.E. time date place etc. he sends me nude pics and a list of kinky stuff he likes!....so I send him a note back
"not sure why you sent this, to see if I am a prude? I am not. I will tell you if we do have sex we are very compatible, however, we will NOT be having sex THIS weekend, I really think your cool, and we got along well but also I am not looking for a serious relationship, see you this weekend we will see how thing go unless you change your mind, if you do, no hard feelings"
So he sends back an Email
"run! run as far away from me as possible for your own sake as well as mine!"

Have met one person from here.....and only as friends....He is dating a really wonderful woman from here.......and we got together because we both love to laugh...and cut up a lot...and wanted to see what we would be like rolling on the floor laughing at each other....

I'm WAY too wild for most of the mainstream women on this site!!! I should have lied and said I was just like all the other boring lames in the world. I think I'm in the wrong place. I always heard that men who do the best with women in real life do very poorly with women on the net. I found this to be totally true. Probably gonna delete my profile real soon. Not worth the time and effort.
