Then they'd have a get-together with their wives along and those buddies all had wives that were on the bigger side of BBW.

Posted: 5/19/2008 3:59:47 PM | I have not personally experienced it myself, but I've never exactly been interested in the larger types. Just not really my thing. I do have a friend though who has generally favored the larger ones, and while we have joked about it, it's all in good fun. My particular group of friends consists of the following:
One who prefers older women (10-15 years older)
One who prefers much younger women (age 17-21)
One who prefers the bigger girls
One who gets razed about being Gay (but based on his past dating experience he's as straight as a board)
I had my own particular preference which shall not be named, although in the past couple months I've since had a preference for the older ladies myself. | |

Posted: 5/19/2008 10:58:03 PM | I know I have personally struggled with my weight my entire life. I mean I remember "dieting" as far back as the fourth grade!! I tried many times, but it's kinda interesting that I'm still the same way 12 years later. Maybe it's because I'm happy with how I look, but I doubt it. I'm one of those people who wants others to accept me for who I am, yet I understand that its hard to do that...so I can see both sides of the fence. Now, enough of my ranting  lol. so here's my opinion on the OP:
Be with whoever you want to be with. Whether they're fat, skinny, tall, short, long hair, short hair, bald, white, black, purple, green, blue....you know why? Because it's your life, therefore you get to do whatever you would like with it!! Isn't that awesome??!!

if youre a size 2 ,4,5 and youre happy/healthy thats ok. but if youre a size 14,16,20 and happy/healthy... you go girl! i dont know why its a bad thing to be a bbw nowadays if youre healthy and embrace your body.i love being curvy! | |

my ideal woman is 5'2" and up, 135-??? pounds, brunette/red head, hourglass shape, massive hips and booty and humongous tits(DD mimimum). That might be considered BBW to some, but to me that's just plain SEXY AS HELL!!

Guys can be so ridiculous with their friends. I remember passing by a Lane Bryant in the mall and two guys I used to know were pointing at it, making fun of how "fat" the models were. Plus sized models are fat? Really? Most of them are a size 12, which is below average size.
And my female friends make fun of me because I like guys that are tall and lithe. Not skinnyskinny, just lithe. I think big, bulging muscles are gross. Everytime I see a guy post a personals ad where his breasts are at least a B cup, I'm grossed out. They love that. They call the men I like effeminate, even though those same men are stronger than me. If a guy hugged me like he was my Grandma, it just wouldn't work out. I'm a woman, I still like to feel protected.
It's not to often that I meet men who are open that they like BBWs. More often, I run into guys who want to cheat on their skinny women with a big woman. Like that guy said, they think of us as mopeds. Don't want anybody to see what they really want. | |

I believe in my profile I say I am a fat chick, because I don't like the BBW label at all. No shame in saying you are fat. I don't need to be politically correct.
Fat can mean anything from 30 lbs. overweight to 300 lbs. overweight, too. I figure if I can sit in a chair and my fat doesn't hang off the sides, if I can walk like a normal person and not lumber, if I can run up a flight of stairs and not need oxygen, then I can say fat and not ginormous.

Unfortunately men are into "window dressing" and if they think you dont match the package ideal, they move on. I dont know what exactly it is, other than societal brainwashing that tells men they have to like thin women only... I say this because of the many many cultures out there that have historically and STILL DO appreciate women who are thick or plus sized.
I think its fine to strive to be healthy, but not to make some sick definitions of beauty that basically kill teens with diseases like anorexia. WTF is going on out there anyway? The media NEEDS to be held accountable for the harm its caused women and how men view their value as a partner.
Kudos to a man who can stand up and think FOR HIMSELF and not allow outside
influences to define whom he can and cannot love based on something as ludicrous as size! | |

its the most heart breaking thing a girl can experience. half assed love.
its wrong and harsh and bullshit.
and people who make fun of anyone else for dating someone is sick and wrong. and they themselves... will have only Karma to face.

12 year old boys would not be size 12. Technically, if you put the average 12 year old boy in a dress, he'd probably be a size 4.

I'm all for being comfortable with who you are at any size, but I don't agree with bashing others who are happy at another size.. whether it's larger or smaller.
I also think if you're attracted to something, then you're attracted to THAT. It doesn't mean there is anything wrong with something someone else is attracted to, that's just how they are wired. It would be like me teasing my friend for liking blond guys. That's her thing. I may like something different, so, what! We don't compete for the same guys. It's not a bad thing.

The majority of us larger ladies don’t put the label on ourselves, it is the label that is often used or already placed. In fact on this site we don’t even have a “label” of our own, it has to be shared with Big/Tall guys. Well, I’m not tall.
It is just a label used to let others know we are not skinny or trim and not delusional about it. I don’t care for the word “beautiful” in the middle though as it is subjective, just as the word “handsome” is in BHM. | |

Hey, you're the one who seems invested in talking about how much you dislike fat in a thread where a guy is being teased for liking it. It amazes me how much people don't like fat, but feel a need to interject with their popular opinions, as if it's something enlightening and compelling.
