Maybe they won't outright admit that, but I have to say when I'm out I do get guys checking me out or buying me drinks, etc. I'm confident in how I look so maybe that has something to do it, but I think a lot more guys than people may think actually are attracted to curvier girls. Guys should be teased for being attracted to girls with terrible personalities, if anything!
Who cares what body type you're attracted to? It's your life, at the end of the day you're the one that needs to be happy with it! | |

Posted: 8/14/2009 12:02:29 AM | I grew up being a teen in the 80's, when women were supposed to be fairly flat-chested and flat-butted. We wore high waisted jeans so tight that we had to use pliars from Dad's tool chest to zip them up (remembe laying on the bed while your best friend zipped your jeans?)
Well, I had an original 'onion butt' in those days, and although I mourned it and blamed my mom for giving it to me, somehow I was always getting slapped on the hiney by the guys, and when I twirled (I was a majorette) my boyfriend was fascinated by my butt in my uniform...as were several football players.
Yet I thought I was fat and that it was unattractive. I had a great shape, small waist, nice legs, and flat stomach, but my round butt supposedly made me fat. What a fool I was, I blame the media and magazines for giving girls poor self image.
I am much older now, and I still have my onion butt. I've had my boobs done (I always wanted them bigger) and I am what the industry would call 'plus size'. But now that I've grown up, and become a woman, I know that I am much more than just the size of my dress. And I don't have any trouble getting dates or maintaining a relationship, because my size is not an issue. Who I am, and what I think and feel are more important than anything else.
Someone who judges me on what size I wear, rather than my personality or sense of humor, the fact that I have a smile on my face, and can light up a room...they don't deserve the pleasure of my company.

Definitely! A friend of mine first doubted why her current BF was into to her at all in the first place. She had a great vibe, as well as being attractive. As a very slim woman, I've known all my life that men were attracted to larger women just as much as slim women. Why can't anyone else see this? | |
