Naw, I don't think they should leave the site. We have many good examples of that. Oops and Steamer for one who are very near and dear to my heart.
They stay on POF to come out to the get-togethers and so on.
Profiles can identify people are not looking.
I think the decision depends on each couple. If they met while they were both on POF, I guess it holds some sentimental value not to mention the friends they've made along the way.
On the other hand, if only one person were from POF and met an "outsider" ... lol ... for lack of a better word, they may not feel the need or want to remain on POF.
Personally if I met an "outsider", I'd likely remain on POF for the same reasons, the get-togethers and the wonderful friends I've made during my time here.
As I said we can adjust our profiles to state that we're not looking and have a partner. And I realize that doesn't always stop people from asking you out anyway so you deal with it. Geez I've been asked out when I'm on an actual date or in a relationship. And I remember being asked out when I was still married and wearing wedding rings. It's no diff on the net - just say no (thank-you).
I see no problem in staying on POF if you have friends here and are staying for the right reasons. If you're staying on POF for the wrong reasons well then that's a whole different thread and that discussion doesn't belong here.
Different strokes for different folks as the saying goes.

For me, a death in the immediate family and being down with a very bad flu for a week has slowed me down. Its taken out a lot of the cynical wind in my sails. And quite frankly, nothing much has for subjects has been very appealing. Picking on good "OLD" Edjoe has become mundane. He is just too easy !!! I can't wait till that boy finds someone and gets married !!!!!! When he comes to grips with his true sexuality, I am sure Canada's new marital laws will mean alot more to him...LOL
