Lets talk Football
I was working in the city today New York and picked up the Daily news paper and saw that Shockey will be at the game. I am sure its just a moral thing. Should be a plus for the Giants. I do think this game will be full of head butting and I think there will be plenty of personal fouls. But take in consideration that might be an edge for the Giants.
Oh did I say The Pats will be the ones pushing the buttons? I bet you they will! | |

"the same chance as any other team.....which is to say NONE if the Patriots play well. If the Patriots play poorly, as they did in the AFCC against San Diego, then they have a chance."
Generally called them terrific, the best team he's ever seen, immensely talented, etc. etc. Businesslike and professional. "the model for all teams in ALL sports", etc.
Said Brady's best trait was his poise in handling everything on AND off the field, and how he may go down as the greatest ever.
Also spoke about how the NFL's high maintenance players suck the life out of the quarterback and the team, which is why Eli is performing better now that Tiki Barber and Shockey are out of action. | |

And DJ I do not care what any body says about the Giants. They did it all year. They said they will never win the first playoff game, never beat Dallas with TO, never beat Packers at home in the Cold with Favre, never will beat the Pats.
I am immune to all of that BS. I know the Giants last game of the season was New England's toughest all year long. This Superbowl it will be tougher. Why does everyone forget we do have the number one defence in the NFL. This is no cake walk for the Pats. Giants are playing great ball now. Pats are not and you all know it. So you can respond to me to stats or any BS or who says what. Hey when that game starts its who is playing better that day period. And you Pats fans don't even see your team as slowing down and making mistakes so shush the uck up. Oh I forgot you won every game this season and I do respect them for it. But its over now, this is the game to win. You can not tell me the Giants have no chance to win in the Superbowl. If you do your out of your mind. | |

| Fran Tarkenton disrespects the Pats year
Posted: 1/24/2008 4:31:26 PM | Fran was talking on NFL Radio this morning discussing the Super Bowl on the Mike and Mike show
Fran says that while the Patriots were destroying teams earlier during the last part of the season the Patriots were an average team and looked sluggish and tired from the pressure that has been building week after week during the past 2 months
He said that Brady has been terrible in several games late in the season especially the Eagles and Ravens game and was just tossing the ball up for grabs and looked tired and beaten at times while he said Peyton looked better during this stretch.
He goes on to say the Giants are fresher and have less to lose and he predicts a Giants upset.
