My birds aren't too picky.

I haven't met a bird yet that didn't like me...

After a nasty experience where a man I really, really liked kicked my cat across the room "because it got in his way," I have a new motto. "If I have to choose between you and the cat, the cat would win." We are a package deal, so if a man is adamant about not liking cats we are probably not going to be a match.

In extreme cases such as this it would be "What if He doesn't like You're Pet"
I would have kicked him across the room. Cats are not to be underestimated they are tough rugged animals.

well i think that profiles should have a pet choice on profiles so that people that have pets can add them to their profile so that when people read profiles its right there for them to see.
that way people can avoid them. there are still lots of people that don't live in indoor barnyards

The man I am currently dating has a beautiful, big dog. When I first met the dog, I brought a treat with me ( I still do ) and he's a real sweatheart. He's gentle, sweet and cuddly ( much like his owner..lol ).

I have a cat my B/F met. Although my cat rarely goes near any men, right away he climbed on his lap and started purring.

I agree with many others. Animals are very astute and intuative in knowing who is a good person and who is not.

I think sometimes pets just pick up on things people can't...
I have a lab mix that is the friendiest dog I have ever known. Except once, my roomate was seeing someone who he couldn't stand. I swear I have never heard this dog growl at anyone in my life before that but he would growl and bark at this guy everytime he came over, and wouldn't even take treats from him. I didn't understand...the guy seemed nice enough. That is untill they broke up and he started stalking her and she had to contact the police about him and everything.
I know one thing...if he(the dog) acts like that again toward anyone I am with I would have serious reservations about that person.

If my pets don't like you, there is something wrong with you!! I put a lot into what my pets think of the people who come a round. BUT we are talking well mannered, well trained animals who do NOT miss-behave!

What if kids are involved?

I put less stake in what she thinks of people, but I don't think I am aloud to send her packing if she if she doesn't like you, so I guess I have to keep her and get rid of you as well!!

Oh, and if their pets don't like me, I am out of there.

It tells me a LOT about them. Only an ill mannered animal will not like me. That tells me that the owner has issues and lacks what ever is required to teach it manners and respect.
