I've found this to be more true than not. I've met a couple of guys on here now that advertise that, meaning "Take care of me, give me a massage, do what I want only when I want it, then leave".
I'd much rather hear "I'll make you dinner AND clean up." Now thats sexy.  | |

Posted: 1/30/2008 10:47:40 AM | Let's say the definition of a Queen is someone (man or woman, these days anything goes!) who expects to find a partner who will treat him/her like "royalty".
Let's also define the "Royal Lifestyle" as the having the expectation of having others serve them hand and foot and getting everything they want. It can be nice to start but soon afterwards, frustration, feelings of unfairness sets in and they want "out of the Kingdom".
I think it's better to have an equal partnership in a relationship where both people can treat each other with the equal amount of respect, kindness, etc. | |

I often see this "I'll treat you like a Queen" ...uhmmm promise (?) in many men's profiles, and I was wondering what it entails. Maybe the guy just mistyped, maybe he meant he'll treat you TO DAIRY Queen. You know, like one of those Blizzard ice cream treats.  | |

what' wrong with jsut treating each other with respect and sharing the load good or bad together.
I don't like being waited on and I don't like serving , Whats' wrong with doing things for each other and letting each other enjoy the one short life they have together.......

might crack through his ego delusion.
also means hes look for a perfect woman worthy of queen status...otherwise the faults he finds in you..will ultimately disappoint him..hence you will not get treated as a queen..... unless your continously worthy.

When I was married, my ex LOVED the fact that he felt like the KING of the house... However I felt like nothing more than a servant.
I have YET to meet a woman who comes out and says "You know, yeah, I was a ****, I didn't **** well, my ex left me and he was right."
EVERY ex I've ever heard talked about was an ***hole, or jerk, or any number of other bad things; the poor victim girlie is now "over it" and "looking for a good guy."
Oh, the hypocrisy! How can we take women seriously after that? | |

But maybe it has a different definition depending upon which man you ask.
I am determined not to become jaded even though for years, I was treated like a queen.
Different motives drive people to different directions.
His was up "on the pedestal" and spoiled beyond belief.
Motive, distraction.
His pay-off was being able to live a second life.
I feel as though I woke up after many years of being in a real nice and expensive dream.
A housekeeper, day spas, shopping trips to other foreign countries......and anything I mentioned........surprise bling.
None of the above gave me what I really wanted and to this day haven't had.........true love.
Unconditional love............?
I see a lot of barter type messages in profiles.
Example: Treat me and I will return in kind.
There seems to be too many conditions attached...if you do this, then I'd do that.
Or the;
when you're expressing your feelings about something and he's constantly, even before you finish your thought, saying well, what about me?
Hate it....at least wait until I've finished.
Selfish and anal....
I want to think loving, caring and showing love is random.......expressions of love, again random.
When I do a random act of kindness, I never expect to get something in return for my kindness.
For me, it's the "feel good, inside" that matters.
No more than I expect to get paid for volunteering or helping a friend...........what I do and what I say, comes sincerely from my heart.
Is being humble gone too?
Along with thankful and grateful?
And who dug up "kowtowing".......mercy me. 
Find a shovel, quick. 
I'm looking to be spoiled and at the same time spoil the love of my life.
 Now get over here and be ready to be spoiled.
