| I'LL TREAT YOU LIKE A QUEEN ??? Posted: 4/20/2008 11:03:50 AM | To ceeceekitty, I get what you mean but I guess too often "Treat you like a queen" means the guy empties out his bank account in a desperate attempt to get the girl's attention.
I don't mind treating my significant other well, but so long as it is reciprocated. I don't know about anyone else, but I'd hate to give it my all in a relationship and my gf/wife is standing there with arms crossed, not wanting to give back. That's just not me.
And as for the kow-tow comment, I liked it myself I'll keep it above ground, lol.

Geez,.... If this is for royalty, what is for the ordinary folks...?

| I'LL TREAT YOU LIKE A QUEEN ??? Posted: 4/20/2008 2:41:18 PM | Do they specify WHICH Queen ? They might be referring to Marie Antoinette, Anne Boleyn, or Catherine Howard. - esad > You're killing me, esad. Well said. > Interestingly enough, I've never seen "I'll treat you like a king" in any woman's profile. All I see is "I'm independant" [sic] time and time and time and time and time and time and time again - so often my eyes blur. (So many independent women, eh?) I've never seen this expression in a man's profile. I am independent, too, but I don't need to announce it. > Best wishes - Soul Union. | |

Reading what everyone had to say, I wonder if any one of you was ever respected and treated well in your relationships. When you believe that someone wanting to care for you and cherish you makes him less of a man or a man with ulterior motives. - cazimi > Herein lies wisdom - cold, clear wisdom, and buckets of it. > Soul Union.

>>>> OP, probably indicates lavishing gifts (even if only little ones) on someone, or constantly taking her out to really nice dinners and shows, or nights on the town, all on his tab. Or just being totally (what some girls might feel could be a bit excessively) sweet , agreeable, kiss your feet-type (not literally; for that you need to go to the Sex forums ); that sort of guy. From the girls I've known, I don't think very many of them would truly want to be treated this way all the time, or have their guy be this way all the time. One of my close friends is a female and I know for a fact she would HATE a guy like this and he'd never get beyond date 1 or 2 with her. But she's one of those very good-looking girls who (while she's definitely not looking to "use" a guy for money or gifts or what-have-you) essentially prefers a "challenging" guy who doesn't have his life straight, so .... maybe she's a faulty example.

| I'LL TREAT YOU LIKE A QUEEN ??? Posted: 5/16/2008 7:52:09 PM | Treating you like a queen. Well does'nt that say you are an object to be treated better than some of the other objects. Truely to be someone of great importance you should be treated as an equal treated the same as I want to be treated. Some what a little better. | |

But I think it means you have to produce an heir & a spare...or you get whacked...cept'n for poor Diana, she did her Royal Duty flawlessly, and still got whacked. I like the title Domestic Goddess.

| I'LL TREAT YOU LIKE A QUEEN ??? Posted: 5/16/2008 8:10:52 PM | I will take this one, time4_2.
First up, I want to make ths very, VERY clear, so that there is NO, MIS-UNDERSTANDING by either woman or men.
Ok, to treat our woman like a QUEEN, is not that we guys are WIMPS, NOT AT ALL, it does NOT, mean we are WEAK either, lets get that out of the way first, and RIGHT NOW.
It simply means, a another form of LOVE that we have for you gals, it means that YOU are SPECIAL to us, and it means that WE DO, CARE about you, and that WE, want you to feel SPECIAL, and LOVED by US.
That is what is meant by, I'LL TREAT HER LIKE A QUEEN, because, in your own way, YOU, are our Queen Of Hearts, in some form of way.
And like I say, when we do that, we are NOT WIMPS, NOR, are we WEAK.
So, I hope time4_2, that helps to clarify things for you, and helps you to better understand that meaning, of, I'LL TREAT YOU LIKE A QUEEN ???
And I leave this question behind!
Wouldn't you gals rather be treated like a Queens Of Hearts by us guys, instead of being abused, and treated like dirt?
Food for thought, isn't it?

| I'LL TREAT YOU LIKE A QUEEN ??? Posted: 5/16/2008 9:17:24 PM | | Yeah.. that'll last.... It usually means the guy is controlling and desperate and will cater to your every whim just to be with you ... after a few months his real personality shows through and hes dumped you for his next chicky.. or worse hes telling you what to wear, who you can talk to , what you can spend your money on and when you have to be home. .......... after you date that guy your profile will have some predicatble line about how guys are creeps and just use girls ... bla bla bla... when in fact you went for the easy ego massage instead of the honest, tell it like it is guy that you use to find rude or crass. | |

| I'LL TREAT YOU LIKE A QUEEN ??? Posted: 5/16/2008 9:34:07 PM | He brings you breakfast in bed on the weekends? Complete with freshly ground and brewed coffee
Washes your new white pearl Lexus that he surprised you with at Christmas?
Shops for your birthday at Tiffany's?
Endures your puffy down comforters and white sheets with the lace trim?
Tells you you're beautiful the morning after, when you look like a raccoon and you have mascara running down your face.
I don't know if I could get used to this,,, but I'd give it a darn good try.
Oh, Hello King-y,.... are you out there King-y? Hell---o00000000000

I don't know if I would want someone that treated me like a Queen... Kings are NOT known for being good with their queen
Yup, Henry VIII's first 5 wives found out what it was like to be "treated like a queen"

LOL, thats so funny, and cute, Miashakti. and so what if he didn't last that long, the main thing, is that both people had fun, and enjoyed being together.
And that is what really counts in the end, that the two enjoyed being with each other.
Still doesn't mean that he cannot treat her like a QUEEN, so that she feels special and he feels good about it, if she does as well.
I tell ya, these MIS-UNDERSTANDINGS, sure can get out of hand tho.
Oh well, just take em with a grain of salt, and move on from it, I guess.

As a tantrika, I am really impressed with a man who has been interested enough in his own sexual energy to learn about 'energy mastery'.
I suppose for most folks, fun and an enjoyable time would be more than enough....
but when you find a man who can make his whole body orgasmic...
Now that's electrifying!!!!:

It means the same thing as another thread that states "I won't hit you". Just a ploy for you to 'think' he's a nice guy.

Sure that would be wonderful, if it could happen ALL the time, however, how many times is that possible in the "REAL WORLD", not very often.
Best bet, stick with the real thing, that is possible, enjoy and treasure that, rather then what is not possible, made up in the fantasy dream world.

| I'LL TREAT YOU LIKE A QUEEN ??? Posted: 5/17/2008 11:40:19 PM | | There used to be a tradition that one of my frat brothers (yes I was a little sister don't hold it against me) ...anyway he would drink champagne out of the shoe of the loveliest lady at the ball. One night that turned out to be me. I was more worried about Dr. Scholls. He seemed to dig it. But my shoes were never the same. Is that a queen thing or princess thing? And they were expensive shoes. Just treat me as if you worry a little about our future. That tells me an awful lot. | |
