Posted: 5/22/2008 2:23:45 PM | So..... after perusing the responses. It is pretty evident that a tongue ring does something for the partner who would be recieveing oral from someone who's got their tongue pierced.
My question is for those who DID get theirs pierced........
Did it hurt?
How long was it swollen for?
Did you talk funny at first?
How long did it heal?
I'd appreciate any input you can give and it'd help me decide if I want to run out and tackle down a piercer to do mine. lol | |

Posted: 5/22/2008 4:04:48 PM | yeah it hurt a little it's a needled going thru your tongue, but when you got your cherry popped that hurt too.
the first day it as swore
the second day was worse
the third day it was swollen
it stayed that way for a week
after 7 days the it was back to normal size but still tender
14 days the tenderness started to wane
30 days i was talking normal
side note it is a very sensual process of getting a piercing and caring for your self while you heal, and even more so with your tongue and learning to eat and talk without sounding or looking stupid.
the most important key is learning to eat with your tongue lying down at the bottom of your month, or you will bite the top ball and may chip a tooth | |

like i said i was on antibiotics for a cold /sore throat when i got it done ...that may explain why there was no soreness or swelling ....you might want to take some penicillin before you get it done ...oral penicillin is what i was on
did talk funny for a few days
be careful they use a longer bar to allow for swelling the first few days ...it is hard to eat without biting it ...the shorter bar ...eliminates this ...but you may chip a tooth before you change to the shorter bar ...be careful
learning to eat with it takes a few days but then no problem ....for me its worth it
i have heard people say they can leave their jewelery out for days and put it back in ...dont believe it ....mine starts growing back up after about 3 hours ....left it out about 4 hours and had to force it back in ...not real painful but unpleasant...its not a earring ...if you take it out for very long it wont go back in ...or thats true for mine | |

Tongue piercings are for added pleasure only. Now with saying that thouth I have my tongue pierced and according to my wife, current girlfriends, and past girlfriends (we are swingers). They all have praised my piercing so much I even went to the extent of peircing my****pierced as well and let me tell you, in my honest aponion once you have experianced piercing whether it be tongue or anywhere else for that matter you won't want to go back. I believe it pleasures both side if your open to it. My wife now has her tongue pierced and I feel it all the time, I sure hope she will never get rid of it lol she is now currently thinking of getting her **** done as well since she now knows how piercing inhance sexs for both parties. I think even though piercings are made for most people if they decide to go ahead and get one or more done they are NOT made for all. There will be some select few that are prone to high sensitvity that will not enjoy having someone go down on them if they have a piercing or vise versa some people will have low sensitvity that having someone go down on them they may find it does nothing for them. i can lave mine out for months at a time with no problem, and i am not even on antibiotics but it does tighten up some. but i can get my 10g back in. | |

i had my tongue pierced about 2 weeks ago.
yes it hurt, not an unbearable pain, but still a substantial constant pain for about a week.
mine was swollen for just over 2 weeks.
you talk with a lisp while your tongue is swollen, but after that it's fine!
it was fully healed within a month - during this time i did bite the top ball whilst eating and cracked a tooth. i recommend change to a special type of bar asap, search on google for 'bioflex tongue bars'. it's a kind of rubbery plastic.
i've had nothing but positive feedback so far, especially those who i've kissed! | |

Secondly, it doesn't make a lick of difference to fellatio. Sure you can feel it, but it's just 'there'... like your teeth are 'there'..totally overrated.
Finally, I definitley don't see any benefit outwieghing the fact that it's wearing the enamel of your teeth. I might also mention it gives an indication that you may even have your clit done as well..which is pretty much up there with having tattoos all over your tits. Not my preference that's for sure. | |

When it's used properly, it can add extra stimulation to sensitive spots that would already be stimulated just with proper motions... when you add the tongue ring, the added pressure adds a nice touch. I say this based on being a giver and receiver... Deal breaker? Not at all... Deal maker? Nay on that also.
As for the poster that asked about healing etc.. It took about three weeks for mine to heal totally. My tongue was swollen for about a week, after which I switched to the shorter bar... No damage to my teeth, and no damage to my speech. You may want to look into a 'corporate' piercing... it's set slightly further back on the tongue so that it's not out there for all to see unless you want it to, and it won't impede your speech.... | |
