| The New Season Of LOST Posted: 3/18/2008 7:42:34 AM | | What if Walt is still on the island with Ben or simply somewhere else? Also his ex wife is dead isn't she? This is why Micheal got Walt in the first place. | |
|
| The New Season Of LOST Posted: 3/18/2008 2:08:23 PM | | As if the flashbacks weren't bad enough, now we have the flash-forwards to figure out. Actually,it wasn't hard to figure out that Michael was going to show up again. Harold Perrineau's name started appearing in the credits a few episodes ago,so it was pretty obvious to anyone observant. I'm reserving any predictions until the end of the season. | |
|
| The New Season Of LOST Posted: 3/18/2008 3:43:30 PM | | It may be Michael in the coffin. The funeral home was in a black neighborhood, and the funeral director was black. Maybe no one else showed up because they felt Michael had betrayed them. There was an article in the paper this morning that said the actor took on other acting jobs because he didn't know if he was coming back to the series, even though he was still listed in the credits, but he was happy to be back on board, pardon the pun. | |

Also his ex wife is dead isn't she?
Dang! I forgot that! Ok... I guess I must give up my kissy.
Well, dog gone it, I hate to admit it, but maybe it is Michael in the box.
So who will I owe a kissy to?

| The New Season Of LOST Posted: 3/19/2008 6:15:37 PM | my hell is this show every confusing. I honestly think that its kates baby not claires. cause wasnt kate preggers but hiding it?? and she said to the lawyer "your not using My son's condtion" | |
|
| The New Season Of LOST Posted: 3/20/2008 3:47:20 AM | Just a theory, as they became so rich since leaving the island , maybe Jack found his father's coffin, and returned it, sounds silly but maybe they could weave that into the plot, as they make their up their own rational as they go along. (just a thought)!!!! | |
|
| The New Season Of LOST Posted: 3/20/2008 11:55:49 PM | | OK so who's telling the truth about WHO put the fake plane in the trench now? Mr. Happy or the chopper pilot??? | |
|
| The New Season Of LOST Posted: 3/21/2008 4:42:54 AM | | I can't wait until April 24th I love this show! Ok so anyone who saw the promos for the next episode, knows that it showed Aaron as the last member of the oceanic 6?? How could this be when he wasn't even on the manifest and also in the pod cast they said he didn't count? Ok I know the podcast isn't canon, so I guess there goes my hope for Sawyer haha. I really hoped he got off so he could have a chance with Kate, and I don't think the "He" she was refering to was him anymore. Ah well, as long as he doesn't die. Rousseau's death was sad but half way through the episode I knew she was the one who would die. I didn't think Carl would be one of them also however. I'm kind of confused as to who was shooting at them, was it Whitmore's men and if so then it means they found the island but I thought only the people on the freighter were looking for it and they haven't found it yet. SO now we know Walt is back and safe in New York and how Micheal got recruited to come back. | |
|
| The New Season Of LOST Posted: 3/21/2008 6:24:28 AM | The freighter people have found the island, but I don't think they were the ones shooting. They have Charlotte, Miles and Faraday on the island, but the rest are still on the boat as far as I can tell. And I think the chopper pilot is going to turn out to be a good guy. I'm thinking Ben is somehow behind the shootings...get rid of Rousseau and Carl and now he is all Alex has again. But how Ben would be able to set that up escapes me, so I'm probably wrong, lol.
I still lean toward Ben being the one who planted the wreckage because he has more of a vested interest in the island. But that still doesn't explain the flight data recorder...Ben would definitely have the black box as the tail section was in the water close to the island. No way he would allow it to be found.
In one of the first episodes the chopper pilot revealed that he was actually supposed to be the pilot of 815. When he saw the footage of the wreck he called someone and told them that it wasn't right because the pilot wasn't wearing a ring or something. Then last night he said that they knew the wreckage was fake because Widmore believed him, so I don't think Widmore planted it. And I do think the pilot is going to turn out to be a good guy and is how the six get off the island. In fact, I am beginning to think maybe it was him, not Michael, who slipped the note to Sayid and Desmond.
I still definitely think it is Michael in the coffin. The clipping Jack was reading said something about hanging, didn't it? I think the island was done with him and allowed him to kill himself. His mother and Walt would not go to the funeral because of what he did. I loved when Ben pointed out to Michael that no one had told him to kill Anna Lucia and Libby, that he did that on his own. I think he just can't handle the guilt and finally offs himself.
Does anyone know how many more episodes we will get after April 24?
|
| The New Season Of LOST Posted: 3/21/2008 6:28:14 AM | | I'm getting a little confused by the timeline here. We know the castaways have only been on the island for a few months,so did Michael have enough time to get rescued, start a new life, then be able to get on the freighter to head back to the island? Freighters don't move that fast. | |

Does anyone know how many more episodes we will get after April 24? Harold Perrineau did an interview locally yesterday, and revealed that as far as he knew (or was told), there would be 5 more for this season.
|
| The New Season Of LOST Posted: 3/21/2008 9:13:42 AM | I'm glad this thread is here! I lost power and so didn't get to see any of this week's ep. execpt the last two minutes! UUUUUUUUUUUURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGG!
I think there will be at least four more shows starting back up in April. But after that, it goes back to the normal season flow.
Sass829... give me a shout! I want to ask you something.

| The New Season Of LOST Posted: 3/21/2008 5:25:29 PM | Scryer just watch next weeks episodes and hour early to catch up,. yanno.... the ones with the "cookies" underneath.
The freighter left from Fiji so it isn't all that far from the island so yes a month~ish is certainly long enough to try to start a new life for Michael and Walt....might have only been a couple of weeks.
Just because Danielle and Carl got shot doesn't mean they are dead,..... YET. I am not sure that Alex yelling she's Ben's daughter may help her,.... then again remember Ben's line to Michael..." what wouldn't a man do to save his son"? Perhaps he may find himself in that position with his "daughter".hmmmmmmm? I am still not convinced that Aaron is one of the 6. Not only that but Micheal and Walt, as his Mum said, are using aliases so no one (general public) KNOWS they are back. Remember it is the news etc , not only Hurley after his car chase, who referred to them as the Oceanic 6.
|
| The New Season Of LOST Posted: 3/21/2008 7:42:24 PM | Micheal, Lock and the crazy one eyed Russian can't be killed and we can assume some of the others can't as well, such as Sawyer who has been shot/hurt several times but recovers very well as do many of the other characters in the show. "The Island won't let them die". Indeed all of the airplane survivours should have been killed instantly.
And with all of the time travel episodes we know the future can be changed by those who travel through time so what we see as events in the present and future are not necessarily the way things will be in the end.
Much like in Star trek's "Shore Leave". nothing is real, the Island is just giving people what they think they really want - good or bad.
|
| The New Season Of LOST Posted: 3/22/2008 5:43:39 AM | Scryer, go to ABC.com they play it there. They arent doing the last weeks episode anymore, it wasnt on this last week, anyways. But you can watch the episode online. I dont think it is Michael in the coffin, because it was stated in last weeks show, that the island will not let Michael die. Remember , he tried twice to kill himself, no go.
Which makes you wonder who it is the island will let die? If the island has that power it has to be someone that isnt trying to protect the island, no? I still say Jin is not dead, and as the show also implied all the people were still letting people believe that they were killed in the crash , except the oceanic six. So since Jin was not one of the six, as far as the world is concerned, Jin is dead and it is just all staged. Sun would still cry and be sad, because she can not be with Jin, she said she misses him that could be because he is still on the island. She was one of the six, she had to be, so she and the baby could survive , through the pregnancy.

| The New Season Of LOST Posted: 3/22/2008 5:34:16 PM | | I'm more confuzzled than ever, but it sucks to have to wait a month to see new episode. "LOST" is one of the very few shows I watch. How many seasons are left in the series? It seems they're trying to hurry up and get to the end to me. | |
|
| The New Season Of LOST Posted: 3/23/2008 12:10:05 PM | Hi Y'all....I've been lurking here for a while and enjoying everyone's ideas! Yes, ABC.com has been a lifesaver when I've missed an airing. All the episodes are there, including the enhanced ones.
I agree that Jin isn't dead. In fact, I'm starting to think that no one ever completely dies on the show, since they all seem to reappear one way or another. It's probably just me, but during Sun's childbirth scene when she was calling out for Jin, I could've sworn he was there with the mask on, where the doctor should've been. And remember she was saying (in her drug induced haze) she didn't want to give birth until he got there. I replayed the part where the man with the mask on his face is holding the newborn baby and he looked over the top overjoyed--like a dad, not a doctor.
The "through the looking glass" theme of last week's episode was really interesting. It was a mirror image of the show last season where Charlie couldn't stay alive. They also incorporated the black and white theme by using Michael as the character who can't die. I'm wondering if there are other epi's that were mirror images of one another that I missed?
|
| The New Season Of LOST Posted: 3/23/2008 6:11:34 PM | You didn't imagine that part where Jin was in the mask. She thought she saw him there and thats what we got to see. But it was just an illusion.
I'd love to watch this on abc, but my computer won't run it quick enough. So I will have to wait until it is shown again.
I'm not sure if the mirror image idea has been done before. I can't say because I've not seen this last week's show. Again... I cry!
|
| The New Season Of LOST Posted: 3/23/2008 6:56:21 PM | I liked the first season but it was treading water until the end and i'm glad they decided to end the show so they can focus on moving the plot along and making it exciting. It was always a very slow moving show - season 2 consisted of watching a man typing in numbers on a computer, season 3 consisted of watching Jack stuck in a cage, and the flashbacks were predictable and bland. With season 4 it seems odd that Walt and his special powers are completely written off, its very disappointing. Carl had some famous last words- "this feels like a trap." I'm upset to see Rosseau killed, there was some potential there, but i guess producers thought she knew too much about the island.
I knew michael would be on the boat, and it could be him in the coffin since he wanted to kill himself. Now it will be like survivor, instead of a person getting voted off, each week someone is killed!
|
| The New Season Of LOST Posted: 3/23/2008 7:34:26 PM | Scryer~ good call on the illusion idea, hadn't thought of that. Not sure I'm totally sold tho. But then I'm confused a good bit of the time anyway! | |

I'm upset to see Rosseau killed, shot, SHOT! not killed,....... She may not be dead YET. It happened at the end of the show so really only mere moments have passed by. Same goes for Carl.
Why is it only on TV and in movies that someone can get shot and die instantly ( head shots excluded) OR same injury and they can live on for ages,... all depends on the storyline eh???
|
| The New Season Of LOST Posted: 3/24/2008 9:20:59 AM | Scryer -- post it in the tech forums. I know you can also access LOST through msn.com tvs website and yahoo -- maybe you could use one of those to download it or even stretch your computer buffer to beyond its max(programs out there use your HD to do this), then let it play once through not watching and the second time it will play smooth because its now all buffered in your computer.
Visit a hospital -- bring your own headphones. Their library rooms usually have computers but they don't like people listening to things aloud to disturb others reading.
I LOVED this latest episode with the whole faked crash scenario -- I suspected this earlier on. But putting the black guy on the ship is freakin' nuts, I LOVE IT!
Best TV I have seen all month.

| The New Season Of LOST Posted: 3/24/2008 10:20:45 AM | im finding that im getting more confused with the show after reading this forum. I think im going to rent the box seasons and see if that helps me to follow better. | |

| The New Season Of LOST Posted: 3/24/2008 1:14:06 PM | I'm an admitted cheater and use the fansites to clear up some of the confusion. I just got turned on to this one and I think it's the best one I've seen so far. It's long but really worth reading!
