Posted: 3/28/2007 11:56:01 AM | Well, according to the agreement with this site, we have the actual option of a picture of our head, or no picture. Personally, and maybe it's just me, I *like* the other pics. Not posting a head shot tells you as much about the person as posting one. And if they choose another type of pic, that tells you a great deal, also. I'd like to be able to make up my own mind about a profile, without the aid of a picture. But that's just me.

Having recently read a thread where somebody had copied someone else's profile including pictures, it obviously does happen. I also won't send a picture to anyone because I've done that in the past and despite asking the person not to send it to anyone else, found it'd been sent to at least 20 people, some of whom I didn't even know. I learnt my lesson. Also, too many people judge others by their pictures and if someone wants to get to know me, I don't want it to be for such a shallow reason. The only time I ever need to see a pic of someone else online is if I'm going to meet them because then I need to know who to look out for. | |

If a guy is interested in TALKING to me not LOOKING at me first, then I will definitely show pics but I don't want that to be the reason for someone messaging me.  | |
