You already get more mail than I do (you not-looking, married, just here for my friend, be otch) ... don't you realize comments like the above will just fill up your in box??? oh wait, I guess you DO know that.
OT: ... um ... I still have no clue about age differential, except those 20-somethings still have no appeal to me ... ... ( although in time that may come ... older dudes don't necessairly have the ... uh,... stamina).

| what's an appropriate age differential? Posted: 11/3/2009 11:10:02 PM | | I really think it depends on the person. In the past I have dated men close to my age, but now I am open. I want to meet the best person, and not a number. | |

| what's an appropriate age differential? Posted: 11/14/2009 7:49:55 PM | I have had relationships with men 14 years older to 13 years younger. I prefer no more than five years in either direction now. I was dating a man two years older and was still called his daughter. Regardless, it's how comfortable you both feel. Who cares what society dictates. | |

| what's an appropriate age differential? Posted: 11/17/2009 3:52:57 AM | I'm a regular at this bar I've been going to since I hit 21. No, I'm not some spazz alcoholic- think of it like a place like happy days or cheers. I'm good friends with a lot of people there, many of which are twice my age or more. I was having a pretty crappy week, and one of my friends there got a little to toasty and asked me for a ride home. She asked me if I was alright, I spilled a bit about how things have been going for me. She gave me a good talk, then kissed me a couple of times. I was slightly weirded out, yes, and I don't know her exact age but she is, from what I can tell, much older than me.
It wasn't anything I'd go for, no, but it did bring my confidence back up and I felt a bit better.
As for appropriate age differential, I've set a hard limit as 21 for the youngest, and oldest would probably be around 30. The kind of vibe I get around older women is that they act like they're more mature or better than me and it gets annoying quick. I've been through some highschool-esque bullshit with women that were 30. Age isn't everything.

They are more likely showing their insecurity in having a young man being interested in them. They don't believe it's real so they play it off like they don't want/need anything from you.
When a significantly younger man shows interest in me I tend to laugh it off, (emotionally) patting him on the head and saying to myself, "he just wants a little sumthin' sumthin' and couldn't really be interested in me for the long run". I just don't take it seriously.

| what's an appropriate age differential? Posted: 11/17/2009 8:39:37 AM | This post is still active? I gave the correct answer months ago. Look the truth is you marry a woman your own age and when you go to the movies the pimply faced kid selling the tickets will ask you if your mom has her senior citizens card with her. And all this stuff about women living longer is BS, you get to age 60 and you'll outlive her.
The big problem with marrying an old guy is he becomes more and more guy-like, meaning he thinks he has license to do all the stuff women hated at 30-40-50.
Why can't I just find a nice big nurse-type gal, one strong enough to carry my bags through airports and sit on me and make me take my medicine when I get old?

| what's an appropriate age differential? Posted: 11/17/2009 8:51:49 AM | | What do cheerleaders look like at 50? I took the psychology profile test and it said I'm looking for a cheerleader. I never even came close to dating a cheerleader when I was younger. I had zero desire to. I did date someone that was a homecoming queen in HS when we were in college. She took a bigger part of my heart than anyone else did when she left me for that wrestler she eventually married. | |
