A Muslim man cannot marry a polytheist woman until she has believed. A slave woman who believes is better than a polytheist woman even though he might find her desirable. All Muslim scholars agree that a woman who follows any faith other than Islam, Christianity or Judism, is forbidden .The concession in the case of Christian and Jewish woman is on the bases that there remains a common area between Islam and these two religions which allow the children to be brought up as believers.So in simple words interfaith marriage is permissisble. | |

Yes there are Muslims on here - both sexes!
Though many do hide their faith, as they have negative experiences from others - many give us a wide berth! Not that this bothers me lol as I only wish to marry a Muslim man being female! 
Anyway - do say hi if you're Muslim also - and also if not!  We're not really like the Daily Star would like to portray us! | |

Posted: 10/10/2009 4:09:52 PM | I am a Muslim. I used the matrimonial sites a few days and got innundated with first contact marriage proposals. Kind of freaked me out. I posted pics.
I have had some problems here with non-Mulsim men emailing me and bashing Islam, but I just block them. I am not here to engage in religious debate.
The smallest of men is one who feels good about himself bullying a woman, through anonimity of the interent or in the parking lot of a grocery store (yes, it happens a LOT).
I sometimes wonder how a man can justify his behavior of foul language, threats, and physically agressive gestures towatds a woman half or a third of his size in the company of children.... | |
