OK OK OK I stand corrected that the Giants did not control the clock in all the games. I did look on line to see. you didn't bother to check.
But...........................................
We won the Superbowl!!!!!!

I guess there's nothing wrong with being incorrect all the time. That's alright I'll let it slide. Your still my buddy....

| NEW YORK GIANTS Posted: 4/26/2008 3:27:56 PM | Shockey maybe walking with the Saints soon....What is Eli going to do? | |
|
| NEW YORK GIANTS Posted: 4/26/2008 5:14:37 PM | So what!^^^^^^ Did we need Shockey to win in the Playoffs or the Superbowl, apparently not? Seems we didn't need Tiki either. I think you (WIZ) just like to do the bash Eli routine again thingy I know your still hurting. But Eli proved his point. He can win a Superbowl against the mighty Pats, wouldn't you say. Oh I know a one time winner is all as the Wiz would say.
I say let Shockey go. I am not crying And I am sure Eli isn't either.
|
| NEW YORK GIANTS Posted: 4/26/2008 6:07:13 PM | | Crazy, You don't need Shockey''Good f------ riddence to Shockey's self centered, non team playing mentality azz. The dude is a cancer in the locker room. | |

| NEW YORK GIANTS Posted: 6/27/2008 12:22:04 PM | | Whats the word with Shockey? Seems there is some mood swings on both sides of the fence. Granted we won without him and he always complained that he did not get the ball enough. He is a great player. And I thought after not being a contributor to the win. It might have humbled him a little. Starting to rethink my own opinion and say keep him. It wouldn't hurt or would it? | |

| NEW YORK GIANTS Posted: 6/29/2008 5:23:16 PM | Personally I think New England got caught up in the run for the undefeated season, had they focused on the Superbowl first then they may have made it a little easier on themselves. I think Belichick and his team lost focus of the original goal ( winning the Superbowl) Winning all of there games seemed to take its toll as they didn't play with the same amount of confidence near the end of the season. Having said that Give credit where credit is due the NY Giants had an excellent game plan and that was to pressure Brady and they were probably the only team that had enough fresh talent to put on the field. The Giants drafted plenty of defensive linemen to replace Strahan and they were able to get these guys experience during the season, once they got in the playoffs they were sack monsters and pressured the Quarter backs all day without getting over tired. Eli came through because his defence gave him the opportunity to make a game of it and he didnt dissapoint anyone. If you can get your team to peak at the right time then you have a shot against anyone. The Giants were hot and New England spent too much emphasis on going undefeated and lost some of their spark at the end. Look at the games New England played they killed everyone until the last few games then it started to get tougher to win. The Giants meanwhile were hot and had the perfect system to knock Brady around and won the game in the trenches. The only way to beat New England was to pressure Brady and rattle him by knocking him down constantly a lot of teams tried this however no one had the defensive line depth of the NY Giants who could afford to take out veteran linemen and replace them with fresh legs without losing a lot of talent. dont think this was a secret to any of the teams but you needed the depth to do it. and the Giants had that depth. Either way it was a great game by two great teams | |

| NEW YORK GIANTS Posted: 7/2/2008 6:39:38 PM | The New York Giants were nominated for six ESPYs in this year's sixteenth annual ESPN awards show.
The Giants nominations came in for Best Upset (Giants-Patriots), Best Team, Best Game (Super Bowl XLII), Best Play (David Tyree's Catch), Best Coach-Manager (Tom Coughlin), and Best NFL Player (Eli Manning).
The 2008 ESPYs co-presented by HUMMER and Under Armour, hosted by Justin Timberlake, will be televised Sunday, July 20 at 9 p.m. ET on ESPN/ESPN HD.
|
| NEW YORK GIANTS Posted: 7/4/2008 8:13:05 AM | | If Eli wins best nfl player I lose all respect for the ESPY's, same thing goes if the Giants win best team. | |

Agreed....There are other players in the NFL that deserve it more than Eli.

| NEW YORK GIANTS Posted: 7/4/2008 5:06:26 PM | You are absolutely right! How could they not elect Tom Brady "the Football God" in his perfect season all the way to the last two minutes of the big game! Can't everyone just forget about the last two minutes of the Super Bowl and give the guy a break! I am sure he still has night mares with some of the Pats fans here even on POF's forums. | |

You are battling anyone that doesn't think the way you do.
I never said Tom Brady....
I rest my case.... | |
|
| NEW YORK GIANTS Posted: 7/21/2008 2:14:48 PM | Well seems Shockey has been traded to the Saints for two trade picks in 2009
Is that a good thing? | |
|
| NEW YORK GIANTS Posted: 7/21/2008 3:02:44 PM | | It's a great thing. Reese is a genius. Taylor pulls in a 2nd and a 6th, in different years. Shockey brings in a 2nd and a 5th in the same draft. | |
|
| NEW YORK GIANTS Posted: 7/21/2008 5:49:06 PM | | You can have Shockey back. The Saints don't need no self righteous drama queen. The guy is a piece of s..t. I should calrify that...he is a piece of s..t until he starts catching tds for me. | |

he is a piece of s..t until he starts catching tds for me.
Wow I didn't know you owned a NFL Franchise. What team do you own?
I would take him back. When he is healthy and part of the operation he is very good at what he does. And his attitude can be a motivator. There are teams that do not want to face him on the field. He is a good football player. Wait and see what he does for the Saints. There are so many players that cause trouble. Tell be about a Drama queen... I think of TO on Dallas
You say a four time probowl plater is a piece of shite........ I totally disagree. He will be a big factor with the Saints
