I totally agree with you 110%....
|
| NEW YORK GIANTS Posted: 9/26/2008 8:58:04 AM | I may be wrong, but I don't recall any 'experts' or many people in general, claiming the Giants would repeat. Therefore, how are they overrated?
If anything, the Giants are still being disrespected and underrated by many people.

I agree. They are rated from 5 th to 6th to win the Superbowl. Being overrated? Would mean 7th or more to win.
Name me 7 teams that would make it to the Superbowl which has better chances to win it. Don't even say the Patriots are even on that list. Miami beats them

| NEW YORK GIANTS Posted: 9/26/2008 3:41:44 PM | If you Win a Super Bowl from the NFC EAST Division you Earned It.
Win a Super Bowl from the AFC East Division it's practically handed to you on a silver platter. Last year the Pats couldn't even When** a Super Bowl after going 18-0 Because the Giants wouldn't hand it to them

thats far from accurate, i agree with you the afc east has been weak for the last couple of years, but the pats did beatalot of the teams or most of the teams that were in the playoffs last year during the season. its not like the pats played the afc east in the playoffs to get to the superbowl, but anyway iam a colts fan , i loved the superbowl, hell anytime the pats get beat is a good day, just thought that your point was wrong

Denny, he makes these comments thinking he can get under my skin. To reply to his statement was just a waste of time. Anytime now he will probably say some type of unintelligent statement concerning what I have just said. Its been like this all summer....Although thanks for your statement.
but anyway iam a colts fan
Since everybody has been so fixated with the Pats....Nobody has mentioned the 1-2 Colts. Whats wrong with the Colts? They still have their starting QB....

| NEW YORK GIANTS Posted: 9/29/2008 5:01:41 AM | I loves me Jints!!!
3-0!
Toomer, Boss, and Ward are on my fantasy team.
I've been bleeding Blue since '84. Miss seeing guys like Joe Morris, Phil Simms, and Phil McConkey play. LT, Carl Banks, Jim Burt....all greats in my book!
My team....overrated?? Bite your tongue. This team is more team than even last year's. Overrated, says you. Bitterness over respect, no good. I wouldn't do that to anyone else. Past winners have earned my respect....Hell, I had to watch Boston Red Sox fans give me crap, in two of the last four years.
I respect fans who are honest fans. Not trendy fanatics.

| NEW YORK GIANTS Posted: 9/29/2008 4:16:16 PM | | I don't think they will repeat, there is too much competition this year in the NFC EAST alone let alone the NFC. If they do repeat it's going to be a lot tougher this year then it was last year getting to the superbowl. How screwd up will that be if we saw Giants and the bills in the superbowl? | |

I agree and I have been saying this since training camp began. As of right now the NFC east is the toughest, but all that can change in 3, 4, or 5 weeks. We all thought Eagles were a team to be reckon with and now their 2-2. Dallas just loss their last game and now we got TO complaining he's not getting enough balls throw at him. 17 were thrown at him and only caught 7, so how do you figure? Now he's whining because the ball is thrown at him before he runs his route. I smell trouble in the locker room....You also got Burress now suspended for beating his wife and couple of restraining orders that were dropped. The only team I see without any issues is the Redskins, very quiet.
Can you say the days of our lifes in the NFC East....

Patriots could not make it through the season playing in the NFC East with out a bunch of pain, suffering and

They beat the wrong team last year. Guess "they" forgot about the Giants being in the NFC East as well.

| NEW YORK GIANTS Posted: 9/29/2008 6:39:38 PM | | Nope, I was talking about your Cowboys. | |

Nope, I was talking about your Cowboys.
I'm talking Super Bowl game Giants 17 Pats 14
|
| NEW YORK GIANTS Posted: 9/29/2008 7:24:01 PM | And I was reminding you about Cowboys couldn't beat the Patriots. And don't forget the Cowboys loss just not by the Patriots, but by the Giants too 21-17. I guess they can't win against contenders. How they made to the playoffs is still a head scratcher. Cowboys are just a waste of playoff space. They're just going to lose again. | |

Must be contagious because Patriots are already losing and losing Big.

Exactly I'm re-living last years Super Bowl game. Giants D putting Brady on his *ss. David Tyree's immaculate helmet catch Plaxico Burress GAME WINNING TD CATCH Bill Belicheat running off the field before time expires Giants holding up the Super Bowl Trophy
They keep showing it on NFL network over and over and over again
|
| NEW YORK GIANTS Posted: 9/29/2008 7:51:23 PM | The one that plays in my mind is the butter fingers Romo and sulking in the bench.
Or the crying of TO...."My quarterback"
Or last years playoffs with Barber getting tackled by Strahan on the NYG 5 yd line for a -1 in the 12 seconds of the game to lose the playoffs. Now that was funny.
When this team was predicted to be in the SB. They couldn't even win their first playoff game.

| NEW YORK GIANTS Posted: 10/1/2008 6:24:48 PM | Well I am glad I got past the Giants bye week. Felt strange not watching them play on a Sunday. Seattle is next. They should be well rested, Seattle had some injuries that the bye week most likely helped them. I did not like the bye week when we won 3 in a row. Hope it doesn't effect the guys with soft bellies. I have watched some sports analysis commenting on the Giants. I do hear often "who did they beat that was good" I heard that last year on the way to the Superbowl. And its only three games into the season. Being 3-0 I am not to concerned. But would like to say. Sometimes as we all know there are upsets from teams we never expected to lose to. I am sure you all felt it already this season with your favorite teams. And that can be any team. To me winning even to the teams that you are supposed to win, is a great win. To say well, you should have won that one is a cop out. Nothing in football is guaranteed. Look what happened to the best team in the AFC. It only takes one play! Can T.O. get hurt? Eli? You bet they can! Will the Giants win every game ..... No. Are there still games we will learn from, yes! Can they repeat as Superbowl Champions ......... why not? The later part of the season will be the deciding factor. When we play our own divisional games in the NFC east. It will not be easy. I just hope we stay confident and play as a team with multiple plays that lead us to the goal line, not just two or three players that we feel we have to count on. I am confident with Eli. He is more confident and less picks so far this year then where he was last year. Romo has thrown more picks. I think 4 already.
Lets Go Giants! | |
