Giants should beat AZ next week. I don't see AZ beating them, but it may end up to be a high scoring affair.

ALAMEDA, Calif. (AP) - Richard Seymour says Giants linebacker Antonio Pierce should worry more about his defense than criticizing the Raiders.

After New York beat Oakland 44-7 on Oct. 11, Pierce said playing the Raiders felt like a scrimmage. The Giants then lost 48-27 to New Orleans last week.

"They got what they deserved this week," Seymour said Wednesday. "I'm not sure how many points the Saints scored on them, but if I'm not mistaken, it was half a hundred points. So, I think he got enough to chew on himself with that."

I said the same thing just the other day....

It appears we should keep the division lead. Dallas isn't a threat, even the Chiefs gave them a tough time the other week, and the Eagles just lost to the Raiders! At least our only loss was against a quality team. What we must do Sunday is put pressure on Warner, or else our banged up secondary willl have to step it up against Fitzgerald and Boldin. They are one of the top passing teams but they rank 31st in rushing, so we have to look for the pass. But I'm confident we can pull off a victory.

the secondary is probably the weakest link.....The Dline can only compensate but so much.....the Offense needs to keep more possession!..........the trade mark of the Gmen is the slow rush, hold possession, wind down the clock......the defense as a whole has gotta be better at reading plays, they can't wait till the cat is outta the bag!

You got that right Skooch....I'm thinking I wore the wrong Jersey.

Ya know if they just LISTENED to ME during the game, perhaps they would have won. Probably couldn't hear me over all the shouting going on at Beef's.

just one more thing about their first loss.

why do you kick a field goal and losing by 20 points?

Point differential. But it want matter because if Saints and Giants tie Saints win the tie breaker for winning the game out right.

HD, whatchootalkinaboutWillis??? HD, the Giants were down 14 points in the first quarter when they kicked their first field goal. They were down 24 points early in the fourth quarter when they kicked their second and last field goal. What game were you watching?

LMAO....that was too funny. However the answer is NO, I don't even have a Shockey jersey. I wore #27, Jacobs. Wise Azz. I'm thinking I like the defensive jersey's better.

Now that was as clear as MUD!!!

Pete, Wat you talkin bout? Giants went on 4th down. However the were closer to the end zone. At least when they are closer to the end zone, if they failed to get a 1st down, it would take the Saints a LITTLE longer to march down the field.
Why give the ball up allowing the Saints to have good field position. Isn't it better to get somepoints up, as to not be humiliated even more with the point differential.

HD, I think they are calling you on the Dallas thread, LOL, better get over there quick.

Next Giants and Saints match up....Giants will win.

^^^The only way The G-spots, or anyone for that matter,(haha) beat the Saint's is if Brees gets injured. He is the Saints team. He leads the pre-game rally cry every game and leads the team (and the rest of the NFL) on offense. A team is like a wheel. There are many spokes, and Brees is the rim. He aligns all the spokes on the Saints' team. He is that important to this team.
hahaha, That's my spew for "Brees for MVP!" Brees has led the league in passing yards for three years. It's his turn. The guy threw for the second most yards in history last year. Got overlooked. 17 yards away from "the great Dan Marino."

My sweet nancy, are you speaking about the phantom holding call play? When the Giants went for it on 4th and goal from the 10, but had the touchdown taken away by a penalty flag? Then on 4th and goal from the 20, the G-men kicked the field goal. The G-men were still down 24 points when they kicked that field goal, and were never trailing by 20 points like HD was saying.

Nancy, what size Shockey jersey do you need and would you like it in white or black and gold??? I'm confident that #88 would look much better over those 38's than #27 does!

Nancy, by the way, very nice new profile pic, dear!!!

Skooch, Brees the rim and the team the spokes? Now there's a FANCY analogy.

MGM....I'll work on learning the point system.

Pete honey, Yes the "PHANTOM" holding call, not that one TD would have helped them, but it does play into the "momentum" of the game, in which the Giants just didn't seem to achieve. BESIDES THAT WAS A TD.
Giants also went on 4th in the 4th quarter, they were in the red zone, they were 4th and 8th, Giants went for it, Eli made a completion to Hixon for 10 yards. ( whew talk about a run on sentence, LOL)

Thanks for the compliment on my new profile picture, it was time for a new one.

Holy Crapola, at this moment Texans are whipping 49er's butt, 21-7, 3rd Q

I wouldn't be surprised if the Giants lose this game. When you got the likes of Warner, Bolden, Fitzgerald, Breaston and Hightower on the same offense they can be very hard to stop when they are running on all cylinders.

Well giant fans get ready for wiz to flood this topic with laughter.

AZ isn't a fluke anymore. Chris Collinsworth is even now questioning how good the Giants really are by saying they got past some pretty easy opponents, until recently.

Eli throws for 3 INT in this game....Many more to come, stay tuned.

I told you guys the Giants were winning because they were beating weak teams.

Cardinals 24 Giants 17....That 1st place may not hold up for long Giant fans!!

I wouldn't say Eli choked.
Giants did lose, however I saw it more of the WR's as the problem. Manningham and Smith were doing great, until they started playing tougher teams, seems they can't handle pressure well. I can't count how many times Eli threw the ball right to them, right into their hands and they didn't catch it. Defense played well, offense s*cked, the o-line was weak, and the WR's missed catches. I don't know why they didn't use Jacobs more, he played great when he did play. And what was with the directional kicking on punting? That didn't work at ALL. They should have stopped at the FIRST FAILED attempt. "directional punting" my azz, more like give the other team the ball at mid field. WTF?

Ahhhhh if only the Giants listened to ME more.

Very disappointing. Giants should have been able to win this game.
