Yeah, I had an ex who had a kitten. She doted on that thing. Due to the floorplan of the abode it was nigh impossible to keep the cat out whilst we got all frisky.
The friggin' thing would leap from the floor and chew/scratch/bite my toes. To my credit I'd fling the monster from the end of my foot without missing a beat, he he.
I nicknamed the cat "The Antichrist" and it still makes us both laugh to this day. | |

She was a baby, probably 2 lbs then and liked to sleep behind my pillow. Guess she wasn't "sleeping". My girlfriend took her and kept the stuffed Dalmation. That was her favorite toy. I haven't seen her hump anything for a long time, than again nor have I.  | |

Posted: 2/22/2008 9:14:25 AM | if was using the toilet when a cat jumped in, would make sure that am finished doing what I started, flushing the toilet would not wash the moggy away, but might clean it up a bit and make it associate the toilet as being a bad thing to play in :)
as for giving it a bath, it would have had one on the flush, would then pick it up by it's belt and drop it into the bath to dry off :) | |

If I'm in the bedroom, he's not, it's just that simple. He makes it plain he's not a fan of this arrangement, usually by banging on the door continually at 7am.  | |

Most dogs in the city are absolutely insane. If they're on a leash, they go nuts when they pass another dog.
I think they're starved for romance.
Most of them never get any. And if they manage to steal a moment, someone's turning a hose on them.
People just don't like watching dogs having sex.
Listening to cats in the middle of the night is the worst.
I think cats are having a lot more sex than dogs. | |

Posted: 2/22/2008 7:59:03 PM | Meh ~shrugs~ my cats are watchers ... an ex told me once that He was waiting for them to hold up rating signs like at an Olympic event because they just sit and stare while we were having recreational time. If i close them out of the room it becomes MORE of a distraction to hear them pawing at the door ... darting their claws underneath in their exhaustive attempts to get in. My cats believe NO door should be closed to them in my house. The worst is that one of my cats is a serious cuddler and he'd jump up on the bed and want to rub his head against my ex's or my legs in the act ... that's when operation kitty launch would come into effect! Totally squicked me out!

We were en flagrante one evening in bed with the dogs in bed with us, as they usually were, and before you knew it I looked over and sure enough, there they were, en flagrante, too. They were both looking at us, we were both looking at them ...it was quite a scene. :-)
No switching partners or anything like that, but we did go out for a drink with them afterward, though. | |

If you can't laugh during sex, don't have sex with that person. Animals make for some comedic times. In general, I kick them off the bed and continue what I was doing after a brief chuckle. that's the best advice I can give. If you're not an animal lover, don't date an animal lover. And for that matter, if you're not an animal lover, why is an animal lover dating you? | |

Just to address the Animal lover referances here...A person can like animals but don't want them in bed with them when they are being intimate. That doesnt make them an animal hater.
Some of my questions on first dates are :
Do you have a pet?
Do you call your pet your child?
Does it sleep in your bed with you?
By the way..I love animals, just not in bed with me and less when I am being intimate with my partner. | |

I didn't realize how protective of me my dog was until I had a man stay for the weekend. The poor guy couldn't move or speak or roll over in bed without setting the dog off barking...it went on like that for an entire weekend. We spent lots of time going places just to get away from the dog. | |

The next problem involved Ziggy watching us make love. I don’t mind a cat in the same room minding his own business, but I do object to being stared at while in the act of intimacy. It’s unnerving.
What do you think they're going to do? Pull out a card when you're done and rate you on a scale of one through ten? Or do you maybe think that they're thinking, "You're doing it all wrong, man! Bite her neck! Bite her neck!"

Posted: 2/23/2008 11:04:27 AM | No no no...it's that broken-hearted stare of the "fixed male cat" that was the killer look.
It took me back to an awful experience when I took my gray tabby male to a female vet because of a fight wound and infection and let her talk me into getting him fixed.
I never had any qualms about getting my female cats fixed, but one day I saw Lionel mount a female post-operatively, and then quit and give up. He turned and gave me the dirtiest look.
Later he disappeared and turned up dead two months later.
Very sad story.
Anyway, I did laugh at the thought of a rating card and the advice to "bite her neck." Nearly coughed up a hairball. | |
