Some therapists would say that when a man fantasizes about a woman he has not been with, he is victimizing her. Thus, it's much healthier and more respectful to her to avoid doing that unless and until you actually have been with her. | |

Ok. Let's have another "go" at this "do" situation... now, for me... I will "do the dew," I will "lap up the dew," and I will even "walk me out/ in the morning dew/ my friend" (but the DEVO version, not the Grateful Dead). Most times though, all though there are exceptions, I won't "do the do." I mean... if "doing" your girlfriend, or "doing" your boyfriend has some sort of sordid connotations of Using, then... no. Having sex with someone is usually a collaborative affair. Sometimes, though, you just want to grab onto someone, get a double handful of hair, or hip, or something... and just... DO THEM.
Whatever. But what Slumberparty said was that she didn't want to focus on the connotations of the word she used to denote that a couple had sex... just that they had. It's a hijack. Consider the exact connotations of "doing" someone to be selective based on the relationship. If a guy is just dating a woman because she has an ass that you could bounce... not just a Quarter but Bullion off of, then... "doing" might be a purely sexual, dirty, nasty, spank it like you mean it and take it like you're getting paid for it kind of affair. On the other hand... if we're talking about true love, something pure, and tender, and engagement rings are involved, flocks of blushing cherubs roll on the prophylactic... "doing" is ELL OH VEE EEE, baby... but for the purposes of this thread... no damn difference. Get over it. | |
