She could be a total jerk, dumb, psychotic or maybe she just could be that hot inside too, you never know ??

If I sense they are approachable I will but sometimes you get a vibe that their walls are up and that they automatically expect you to be a creep. Sometimes however i'll luck out and find someone who wants to talk to you. Yeah talking to someone hot isnt my problem. Getting their numbers, asking them out thats a different thing all together. Although I had someone hot approach me once, that totally through me off, lol. | |

Just don't "make over" her hotness, or be like falling all over yourself or anything like that. She gets enough of that. If anything drop an off-handed comment or two that will make you stick out from the crowd of her usual "suitors". For example, w/out being flat-out rude, just ask her something like , Do you always wear your hair this way? If she says , No usually I leave it down. Then you could say something like, Oh, well it's not bad either way but I thought I usually saw you with it down and I actually like it a bit better that way. Next time she sees you I bet she'll have it down.  | |

Nah, honestly, it's not that attractive women have lower self esteem than ugly fat women (since it's the fact that they have low self esteem that leads them to be "empowered" in the first place), but it does seem to be true that hotter women seem to be more self conscious. Which actually makes sense when you think about it.
If you're a hideous troll, you know what your status is. You know that when you go out, chances are people won't be looking at you. You're not really worried about somebody stealing your attention. But if you're an ultra mega hottie, you know in the back of your head that regardless of how beautiful you are, whenever you go out, there is always the possibility that there will be that one girl who is hotter than you who will steal your attention away. Women HATE this. That's why hot women go out of their way to look as hot as possible. They can leave the house in a pair of sweatpants and a pony tail and minimal makeup and still get noticed. But they don't want to just be noticed. They want to be the belle of the ball. And no matter how beautiful they are, they're always worried about being upstaged.
Buddhism has a really interesting way of counteracting lust. It's to focus on the human body beyond its superficial value. Look beneath the skin. Basically, you look at a hot woman as a giant blob of guts and bones. It's a bit grim to think about people like that, but in all honesty, that's really all we are when it comes down to it.
The only problem I've found so far with this strategy is that sometimes it works too well. I have a hard time getting a stiffy looking at a blob of guts.  | |

Like I've said before, it's easy to be rejected by a gourgeous woman but when a homely one does, ouch. So my theory has always been to only approach really hot ladies. | |

Posted: 5/6/2008 3:04:29 AM | Well, the thing is, "hotness" is different from guy to guy obviously, if I saw a girl who I thought was really attractive I'd start a chat, but the type of girl I find really beautiful isn't the type that the traditional or current mindset of everyone else seems to be. I personally find the cute, understated girls to be more attractive than the loud brash "I'm hot and I know it" type of girls. And seeing as the cute quiet girls often have stellar personalities, I'm more than happy to go up and introduce myself.
For instance, if I saw a "Kate Moss" in a bar near a "Kate Winslet" I'd more likely approach the latter. | |
