I thought you were talking about 7 of 9. She never rejoined the collective.

It is only gone to the ones that abused the rules of voting.

There were many threads that I did not vote on, some that I felt were pity/troll threads that I did vote to delete and some that I voted to keep because I thought the question was valid but apparently the other voters decided it was a pity thread.

I read the rules and tried to follow them. I even wrote to a moderator with questions on some things and he was nice enough to answer them to clairfy a couple of things.

I realize there are way too many fish for the mods to have individual contact, but I think IMHO, a canned warning about how you are missing the point would have been nice. It would not require typing anything but click the fish's email and mousing the warning.

Many written things have been thought to be something other than what was intended.

If you don't follow the rules in the forums, some have had their hands slapped and are banned for a period of time and then they cam come back. Some are banned forever but I believe they are told why. It would be nice if the delete worked the same way.

No Time for that, nor is sending a short nice Notice the End of it. Most of the Time I get 2 Pages of Points, Rationales and Arguments
which goes straight to the Trash Can without further Ado. Nor will I spend another few Minutes making Notations why your Privileges were revoked, so I have Data to refute anyone's Argument. In all, better than 10 Minutes could be Shot to Hell on someone's Voting Ban, something I don't have the Time for. You could try to twist the Admin's Arm to add another Plattoon of Mods for that, but I doubt your E-Mail would even get read.

Since I apparently blew up my voting ability, I doubt he would make me a mod so I would not waste his time.

use of the community vote feature isn't a criteria in being considered for Moderator

You can still use this avenue if you want to contribute:

I have re-read all the forum rules and have to ask one more question:

If you lose your ability to vote, do you ever get it back? Or are you considered a POF felon and that right is gone forever? Now, come on and laugh, you know that was funny.

Neither. No Time for that. See earlier Post.

You need to be here for a while before you get to vote. (I think it's a month, unless something has changed.)

Yep, one month. Whats the rush?

I think the reasoning is because admin feels you should be here a bit and be familar with the rules before voting whether or not a post/thread has violated any rules.

So...I just realized that I have had my voting privileges taken away....any way for me to learn what I voted wrong on? Any chance of getting them back?
