Posted: 4/11/2008 9:39:01 PM | | I am not sure if POF listens to the messages but i received one shortly afterwards an it was a rude voice mail to me an almost in a threatening way all because i didn't respond to a guy on here who continued to email me an so i told him i was going to report him an then he sent this terrible voice mail to me an i could not believe pof allowed it to go through to me. It seems as though you would have deleted his account had you screened it because i cannot believe you ever allowed it to go through. You need to figure out a way to screen those because they can be almost threatening to us when the person wants it to be. Did not appreciate it all. | |

Posted: 4/13/2008 5:33:29 PM | Hi. Im new at this as well (in Australia) and get seem to message anyone that want to talk to.
I got PopUp message from someone (the system doesn't say WHO!) and was asked to accept the message (yes/no). I answered Yes to Accept and then waited but nothing happened.

Posted: 4/14/2008 4:09:19 PM | | hi i am new to this and tried it in uk-no luck as it asked me to put pin in then enter another code-what is this other code and where can i find it. when i now try to dial1571 to see who has last called my land-line-i cannot get through-i keep getting the strange message about entering pin no. i don't want this i want to go bak to normal and wish i had not tried to voice mail someone please can anyone help thanks | |

Posted: 4/15/2008 7:16:26 AM | | I think this instant messaging is a great way to talk and leave voice mail to the person you realy like without givving out personal information. However it must be pretty upsetting to some people. I should of asked her first by e-mail weather it was ok to do such a thing. From the beginning she put me on her most favorite list of people. I thought she must of realy liked my profile and I was off to a very good start.Then I instant messaged her. And again she was very interested in me. I saw the texting and the vioce mail and I thought I would give it a try. Then before I know it she blocked me from sending anything more to her. She took me off her most favorite list faster then you can blink an eye. She must of gave her phone number out in the first place for the voice mail to give her the meesage. Maybe she was one of those strange type of people where they get you all excited then they give you that qiuck down pounch for kicks. The next time I decide to do the voice mail I will ask the person weather if it is ok with her. I do appolize for not getting permission from her before I proceded with the vioce mail. Maybe even for the instant messaging I will also get permision first by e-mail | |

I recieved a text on my phone telling me to enter a six digit code on the site to retrieve the message.
I do not see where there is even an option to enter the six digit code.
Could you please explain how I can retrieve this reply from he other "fish"? | |

If the person I am trying to contact, states they can be contacted via Voice Mail, and you send a Text Message instead. What will the outcome be?
Will they still get the Text Message right away, or not at all?
If it states one or the other, is that mandatory? | |
