in constant motion as rock music drone' it's unending melody.
Fall approaches, so early it seems.
Sea ducks rafting,feathers coat my view.
Loons cry, their babies now fledged
dream of warmer climes call them home.
We can no more hold back the seasons
as we can hold back time.

we complete

rising to our knees might not inspire
those dying to make that last heroic leap

or is the end the moment that we stop
