And it's the little things that matter to me (outside of sex). I love the sound of male voices. I like the smell of their cologne. I like the stories they tell, and the general testosterone influences. Believe me, you men are totally a blessing in our lives (when you're being nice to us, that is. ;) | |

Posted: 2/17/2008 7:08:12 PM | Sometimes I wish that were the case  . Hearing them talking about how their man having a good job is just as important if not more then looks proves women want men for more then just sex.
When women start going out and looking for hot guys who they have no problem letting sit at home at to watch the kids, play video games, do the shopping ect... while they go out and work hard to be the bread winner for the family. Then they will start looking for guys just for sex. Also they will probably take over the world as well.
I take that back, maybe Paris Hilton or some independantly wealthy chick might go out looking for some smoking hot stud with a fun personality caring nothing about his financial or survival skills but that's a pretty small minority. | |

Need? Technically, no.
And yes, those of us who do make our own money would rather focus on a man's sex appeal, personality, sense of companionship and bedroom skill.
He won't be sitting in my house playing video games or doing anything else - I presume that's what HIS house is for, which is where he should be when I work, or do whatever else I do during the course of a week. I do care that he can support himself. I like men, but not enough to keep one. | |

I want someone to need me because they want me, not to want me because they need me.
I think that's it... so... we need those that we want (care for, enjoy, love, etc.) ...and we don't want them because of needs that cannot be fulfiled otherwise...
Well except for that hug that I kinda need occasionally.

Depending on another leaves you vulnerable, which can lead one to heart break when the other is not on the same page. And there is something to be said about the level of trust a relationship has that friendships lack. Regardless of gender people desire to be on another level with someone. We're social creatures. And then there is always the fear being that cat old lady (or man) that lives down the street that the kids dare each other to ring our bell. haha.

Take a moment ans think about how odd your question is. They dont have anything we dont have also. Turn this around on yourself:
Most men today seem to be successful in the workplace...money not being an issue...Most men enjoy partying on the weekend...Most men are very independent and dont enjoy being dependent...Most men know how to take care of their own....so why are you looking for a woman?
Men don't need women and women dont need men except for love and breeding.

women do not need men(for sex) to get pregnant - there's sperm banks for that.
women do need men to improve their lifestyle and once they get a baby they need men for childcare expenses, alimony, and something to complain about to their girlfriends. | |
