Hey SuthBoy,
You been on sabbatical? I've been wondering if something happened or you just hung up your spurs, but good to see you back sharing your wisdom with us lesser gifted of the species.
If you've been around and I've just not noticed,,,,,,,, nevermind. heh heh.

HiYa EasyGoin' How are things Pardner?

Yessir, I haven't been around much lately.. Just running in lots of directions.
I knew you would be keepin' things in order around here. So I wasn't overly concerned that it might erupt into total chaos.

The wisdom thing must be referring to another party, who may just look like me. (poor guy). But I am always happy to share my innate dumbness any ole time. heh heh

OTD, heh heh. That might have been scary, but it was funny. I had planned at one if I'd have any female children, they'd be named Krystal.
Southn, I just changed my mail settings to anybody, anyplace, anytime I think.
And, I might add, some very nice tumbleweeds in Indiana. Veeeeeeeeery nice.

Now with the blowing tumbleweeds, we can't see how many favorites some of the tumbleweeds or anyone else have.

Boom, it was gone.........

Occassionaly, I must have a Krystal fix........and buy a box of 24 plus 6.
And being a southern lady, I eat them with my pinkie out.

Hey, going to NASCAR and enjoying classicial (sic) music just means you're a well round individual.........

How about "cow tipping" or "snipe hunting"?
----you volunteer to drive and let them hold the bag....
..preferred footwear...boots.

I'm kind of a Krystal-Lover myself, at least from time to time.. Gotta have my Krystal fix or my White House fix. For years, prior to returning to TN, I couldn't find those delicious little square burgers anywhere! I guess I'll have to live with the image that may conjure up about my roots.. heh heh

Being a country musical type, there probably weren't any doubts about that anyway. Although I am a bit disappointed that the CW genre just ain't whut it usta be, in the days of Merle Haggard, EmmyLou Harris, BJ Thomas, and my ole bud Kenny Rogers. (sigh). Eras do come and go, I suppose. I'm just not much into what we're doin' nowadays though.

Yes CeeCee, what happened to the Favorites and all that? And I wonder why?
I kinda liked that feature. Also it usta list everybody's recent posts in the forums, and it doesn't anymore.

And what happened to that Easy Goin' guy? Vanished? Another one bites the dust? Maybe he's just on Summer Break, or sumpthin'..

In any case, I see some tumbleweeds beginning to blow down Main Street again.. That can't be good.

Starline left town too. Have not seen him in the post in ages. I guess some of us are just old fools and keep hanging around. I did have a young pup send me and email and ask me why old women and men were on the forums and profiles. Told him he ought to write one and ask them. I was still considered a young women, thank you very much. Snatch him up by the ear that scallywag..............

and don't know how the bucket list thing wound up in the title of the thread.

Gee, I started a brand new thread this morning, but I see for some reason it was removed.
I thought it would be a good one. Guess somebody didn't agree..

Anyway I suppose we should get used to the tumbleweeds rolling down Main Street, and the ever-present Ghost-Town effect. It seems very few Tennesseans really want to post here regularly, outside of 3 or 4, and new ones that might have that in mind, come in and see almost no activity, so they don't post anything either.

WhatchaGonnaDo? Any suggestions?

You could always try and fill the world with silly love songs. What's wrong with that? heh.
Just droppin by to say hey to 3 or 4 of you.

I dunno Desert..

The last gal I danced with not only stepped on my poor toes, but when I asked her to be more careful, she said I had all kinds of 'issues'..

Nymphetamina, just jump right on in here and chat it up! The ones at the top are the last ones that were active. And in the thread menu they list the number of posts alongside the title. I think they usta put a carrot or something beside the extra-busy threads, but I don't think any have been that busy recently.

Not much going on in the Eastern half of the state either. We need something like the "Dragon Run" that's happening tomorrow in NC except on a weekend that I can attend.

The Dragon:
www.thetailofthedragon.com

A curvy road going up the mountain from Maryville(Greenback area) to Robbinsville, NC (Deal's Gap) loved by motorcyclists and Miata drivers alike----they love the laydown without hitting the ground---going around the curves the bike lays over at an angle, the cars just hug the curves. Sadly this road is blamed for the -couple of times a month-deaths of thrillseekers. It is the drivers who are not experienced enough who try to 'slay the dragon' and wind up over the side of the road in a gully or plastered to the side of the mountain. There are bike pieces implanted into trees along the road.

At Deal's Gap at the top of the Dragon are photos of people who 'slayed the dragon' a great deal are covered in blood inspite of the protective gear. Those photos are plaster all over the wall in the store. I am not putting down safe drivers who enjoy the ride, just the ones who are not careful. Some of the deaths are caused by those who cross the yellow line and hit on-coming traffic. The road is narrow and extremely curvy--318 of them in 11 miles to be exact. Last week a rider died of injuries from August. Another couple died when a HD layed down and crossed the line and took both bikes out. Their nice Sunday ride was blown to bits by an idiot. But for every idiot there are thousands of riders/drivers who realize the danger and are careful to follow the 20-30 mile speed limit. Even the protect gear is not enough at times.

At the current time NC is having issues about answering emergency calls there as it cost $10,000 for each call and it is due to the actions of the victim the majority of the time.

I hate to read the local paper when the headline reads:

THE DRAGON SLAYS ANOTHER MOTORCYCLIST

I am off to dance....the worst that can happen is some lug steps on my feet, but if he is as sweet as SB, I will forgive him.
