Bring on Shane Victorino coming up next! Got the day off and even put a few in the fridge for the triple header. | |
|
| This Week In Baseball Posted: 10/6/2010 7:03:17 PM | | We sucked! At least Doc saved the day with a no hitter in his fIrst post season game! WOW! | |

| This Week In Baseball Posted: 10/7/2010 12:20:55 PM | Yeah the Yankees really pulled that one off. Couldn't doubt it with Mo still there. How old is he anyway 50 somethin? How about Shane Victorino? (Gees I'm starting to sound like John Madden and Brett Favre Brett Favre Brett Favre) Lead off double, steals third and scores the winning run. Turns out to be the winning run of course after Halladay tosses a NO HITTER. Yee Haa. | |
|
| This Week In Baseball Posted: 10/7/2010 6:11:01 PM | not boring to me 6 0 woo whoooo. rangers one game away from moving up. the rangers have never won a playoff series. they usually have good teams but theres always been one a little better.
heres a hint to opponents, texas' secret weapon is their pitching | |
|
| This Week In Baseball Posted: 10/7/2010 6:45:52 PM | I have to say I hate the Yankees. I'm so sick of seeing them every year in the playoffs, and I'm so sick of being one and done.
If they Yankees team plane went down on the flight home, and as much as I hate to say it, I would probably throw a party.
The only way that would be better is if Brett Favre was on the plane too. | |

yanks go up 2-0.............. ..........just one more win, bebee!!! Good pitching by pettit, wood & Mo man!
I have to say I hate the Yankees.
keep on hatin' pal...we thrive on it!
'm so sick of seeing them every year in the playoffs, and I'm so sick of being one and done.
then do yourself a favor and watch some other sport!
If they Yankees team plane went down on the flight home, and as much as I hate to say it, I would probably throw a party.
Wow, you sound as if the yanks were the Taliban, or some terrorists...that you want to see them dead!........they are just a bunch of guys playing a "game"!........something that has no consequences to anybody's life..................You just exposed yourself as a real Sick & hateful Basterd! | |
|
| This Week In Baseball Posted: 10/8/2010 3:10:48 PM | we like the yankees we want the yankees. tomorrow nights game huge. i smell a sweep! | |
|
| This Week In Baseball Posted: 10/9/2010 4:05:22 AM | | Caught a few innings of the Reds/Phillies game last night. I couldn't believe all the errors the Reds made in that game; Reds choked big-time! | |
|
| |
| This Week In Baseball Posted: 10/9/2010 3:17:48 PM | Giants can't be feeling too good about themselves. Win the first game 1-o on a blown call and then they themselves blow a 4 run lead and loose in the 11th and now going back to Atlanta.
I couldn't believe all the errors the Reds made in that game; Reds choked big-time! Lost the first one in the lights then what seemed like a slurry of bloopers that fell in. That 105 mph reliever was off though. Was only throwing 101:) | |
|
| This Week In Baseball Posted: 10/9/2010 7:57:14 PM | | rangers 5 outs away from winning first series and blow it. nice come back win for the rays | |
|
| This Week In Baseball Posted: 10/10/2010 7:34:22 AM | Yanks smoke the Twinks 3 straight!!!........... 2 straight years of domination, this shows the ALC is a JOKE! We wanna thank TB for allowing us to play the Twins first!
Good chance for the Yanks to rest their pitchers...........<img src=http://www.plentyoffish.com/smiles/icon_201.gif border=0> | |

| This Week In Baseball Posted: 10/10/2010 8:43:38 AM | Breaking News!!!!
Talibans hijacked the plane with entire Yankees team. Time for celebration, we won't miss a thing in MLB, like we don't miss Steinbrenner.
If the NY Donkeys go to the world series again, it would be the lowest rated WS in history. MLB will have the same fate as NBA, shrinkage of viewers. | |
|
| This Week In Baseball Posted: 10/10/2010 2:03:45 PM | I love these guys..the Rays bringing it home.....win or lose at least they battled.
 | |
|

Breaking News!!!!......
........Earthding just escaped from the Insane asylum.
Talibans hijacked the plane with entire Yankees team.
keep dreamin pal!........cause thats about the only way the Bsx would win the ALE!
If the NY Donkeys go to the world series again, it would be the lowest rated WS in history.
The lowest rated was the WS between the Phils and the Dull-rays.......a snooze-fest, but when the yanks made it to the WS, the rating went through the roof!
--------------
anybody catch the highlights of the Atl-SF game?.....Brook Conrad reminded me of Bill Buckner, only worse..........he single handedly lost the braves the game! | |

Look im a yankee hater just like anybody else. But I want to see them in the world series more than the rays or rangers that is for sure. Im a baseball fan, so I will watch anyway, but for the average run of the mill fan, seeing the yankees is something they might watch. A-Roid will get viewers, haters, and people that actually like him. I can root against A-roid. Lets call it what it is. Plus the rays with there 10 grand a night attendance doesnt even deserve a baseball team, much less a world series....puuuuhlease....
If the Rangers and reds made the world series the executives at Fox would have a heartattack.
P.S. I hate the redsox and yankees equal...so Im not biased to either... | |

| This Week In Baseball Posted: 10/11/2010 2:52:15 PM | nobody would watch the rangers ? really? 100,000 plus at the ballpark this weekend. there are alot ranger fans here. i dont care what any klutz writer would say to get his name on the 3rd page. it couldnt be any worse than having the rockies or marlins playing in the world series. forbid ive been watching nl teams for many years i know nothing about. but thanks to the inter-league play i know a little about the phillies.
theres no other pitcher i would rather have on the mound tomorrow night and the rangers have him. | |

look, if you really think the rangers and reds would get a better rating than the yankees and phillies your living in a dream world.
Yes, people in Texas would watch the rangers n the world series...THATS IT. Josh Hamilton's druggie life story would get played EVERY fricking night.
The A-Rod factor ALONE would get viewers that usually dont watch baseball watch it....
When the rockies and the redsox made it to the world series, I can admit that it was pretty boring watching my rockies get drilled in 4 games. The phillies would have got TONS more viewers...I can admit that.....
I love baseball, I will watch WHOEVER is in it. I know the players. I enjoy watching it. For the run of the mill fan, they are NOT gonna watch the rangers and reds...unless you live in either city... | |

| This Week In Baseball Posted: 10/11/2010 8:14:10 PM |
nobody would watch the rangers ?
Not to say that they are not good, but save for Cliff lee, the rangers are a bunch of nobodies!!!.............thru the years, the only thing the rangers are re-known for is by giving A-rod the biggest paycheck in Baseball history (when they were owned by Texaco), and coming in dead last each year he was there!...........so having the rangers in the Ws instead of the yanks would sink the ratings in waste pail!......especially if they would end up playing the reds.....it will be a bust!
TB is another waste of a team that the sporting world doesn't care about!......a good team but can't even draw flies, even if you'd smear the field with manure!..........Either Texas or TB in the finals would be a hurt....Fox would have to hope the Phils or the Braves get in to salvage anything!
The Yanks are world famous, you see little kids in Africa, Iraq, India, Russia wearing yankee caps, ...........the most successful sports club in N. America, by far!........like'em or not, but when the Yanks are in the WS, everyone tunes in....you get viewers from the carribean, from Japan, even Europe!.............the Yanks are baseball, and baseball is the Yanks! | |
