| The first glance at opposite sex Posted: 2/22/2008 6:12:02 PM | | Beautiful eyes on a man has always drawn me in especially big dark mysterious eyes, but any color will do as long as they're clear and sexy. A handsome smile and big masculine arms to hold me does it for me too. | |

| The first glance at opposite sex Posted: 4/17/2008 5:12:05 PM | Yes it would be!
For me its a man's hair, eyes and chest build and height. Also his expression ... if he looks confident and strong I feel safer.
The secondary things of course, for me personally, include his educational background and profession-- dont take this the wrong way-- by profession I mean a profession I can relate to-- for myself I am drawn to men in the military, educational fields and business fields... that sorta thing.
Would love to know what a man is first drawn to...

| The first glance at opposite sex Posted: 4/17/2008 5:24:25 PM | | Poetbliss, I think you brought up an excellent first notice. The expression on one's face. I don't care how hot she is if she has that frowny bithch* look, no thanks. Now she could be having a bad day, but if you see that over and over, no thanks. Example, a friend that I bowl league with, his wife is absolutely HOT!!!!!! I have seen the lady 5 times now, and not once a smile. Not only no smile, but just a constant unhappy look on her face. Again, no thanks. | |

| The first glance at opposite sex Posted: 4/17/2008 5:25:42 PM | Hmm...usually it's the eyes - I don't like brown eyes (unlike apparently everyone else...) brown eyes to me are just TO common where I'm from. I like either a PIERCING blue or a nice solid green - those are the best colours imho.
Then it's the hands - I like guys with big hands. The bigger the better, I've *ALWAYS* been attracted to guy's who's hands practically swallow mine when we hold hands - don't know why...guess it's some sort of small symbolism that he can protect me or whatevs.
Edit: Also clean hands aren't a thing for me... I grew up around men on farms/rigs/welders/truckers so they're hands are ALWAYS stained no matter how much they scrub - it'd literally take losing a few layers of skin to clean their hands immaculately. I like to think a man is good with his hands. But on the flip side, I don't like rough, dry, hands...mostly because they REALLY hurt when you start getting intimate....
Then it's usually thighs, I don't like guys with skinny/thin thighs, I like men with meat on their bones. I hate feeling like I could break a guy if I looked at him too hard.
On the other hand I don't like overly muscled guys - It's just...icky to me, but a guy who can balance muscle and a bit of fat/squish is attractive too me :3.
Then it's the chest, I like guys with broad chest/shoulders.
That's about it...the ass has never enticed me, so once the guy walks past he doesn't get anymore looks.

| The first glance at opposite sex Posted: 4/17/2008 10:55:35 PM | Well, the guys that study this kind of thing put people inside some kind of thing that allowed them to track what they were looking at. When shown nude photos of the opposite sex men looked first at the face. However, women looked at his junk first.
Now, before all the girls start telling me how wrong I am let me assure you, saying you are different only proves that you are average because that is what the average woman says.

Nothing of hers will catch my eye unless my eye was glass, and I fell down a flight of stairs.

| The first glance at opposite sex Posted: 4/18/2008 12:17:34 AM | As most men have said, the face. There is so much to see in the face. Let's take an inventory of what we notice. Facial symmetry - that's whether the left side of the face is equal in dimension to the right side. The size of the eyes and the lips. Whether she smiles and is friendly. The colour of her eyes. Even the diameter of her pupils. The condition of the her skin. The length and colour of hair. The shape, size and colour of her eyebrows.
Then, as our gaze goes lower, men tent to notice her general physical build, her waist / hip ratio. At least, that's what I notice.
For me, if a lady has a pretty face, smiles, and has a friendly attitude, and she is of average height and weight, that pretty much is all I need to see.

Posture does for me. | |

| The first glance at opposite sex Posted: 4/18/2008 5:44:03 PM | | ok here's my 2 cents.....im a eyes man....a sexy set of eyes is such a turnon..they tell a story and are the windows to the soul..... | |
|
| The first glance at opposite sex Posted: 4/18/2008 6:26:14 PM | | It has to be the face. The eyes, because if you two have great eye-contact, that can be arousing. The lips, because you will be kissing them. After that arms and shoulders. A woman loves to be held in a mans arms with her head on his shoulder., | |

| The first glance at opposite sex Posted: 5/3/2008 12:25:38 PM | i totally agree with GOLDBERGG...the eyes are the most important part...when you look into someones eyes that tell you if there is a REAL connection... | |
|
| The first glance at opposite sex Posted: 5/3/2008 1:02:44 PM | I never thought Id say this but I agree with Butt Uglee....lol
Smile and the corners of his mouth. If there are little creases around the mouth it just drives me wild. No clue why.
Eyes are next, especially sparkley, crinkly ones.
I also like clean finger nails. That's a real turn off when I see dirty ones. Makes me wonder where those hands were?

De only difference is that women r better at it than men nd almost never gat caught. Were men are so obvious they always get caught lookin at date or other womem

| The first glance at opposite sex Posted: 5/3/2008 2:08:30 PM | The first thing I notice is a woman's personality ... if I find her personality pleasing, that is a BIG attraction and will peak my interest quicker than any physical attributes.
Next, I will notice her hands ... I notice how she carries herself ... finally, I take note of and appreciate the rest of the finer points of a woman. Each is beautiful in their own way and I always want to honor that.

| The first glance at opposite sex Posted: 5/3/2008 4:37:34 PM | | The Initial thing that draws me in at first glance, when I see a man, is the overall structure of the face, ( eg masculine angular bone structure) followed by his eyes and mouth....his hands are very important to me as well.. | |
