| How far will you drive for a date? Posted: 1/6/2009 9:45:26 PM | | So, apparently everyone is expecting to find their "soul mate" within less than an hour drive? Hmm, I'm with those couple of people who said they would go anywhere. | |

I also have flown for a man. I even relocated for one. As men have flown from West to meet me. Any date is worth the travel to see if "they are worth it".
How will you ever know if you don't take a chance? Good gosh - | |

I dated a guy in NH for a brief stint, and while I was able to travel about, he said that he was looking to find a wife that will share his house in NH. I was like, "I haven't even started law school yet!" If one person is willing to bend or change for the other, then it's workable, but as you said, if the family/friends is that big of a deal to them, it may not work out. I was once asked by an ex to move to Germany with him when his job brought him there. I couldn't because I've known my state for my whole life, who knows what would have happened, but the cost was too much at the time (not financially), just the cost of losing family and connection.

I would love to meet someone in a surrounding town, but I am finding it impossible. Also, I love downtown Boston! It's an ideal place to meet for some good coffee & people watching. If I can find someone, who loves downtown as much as I do, then it would be a big plus!

| How far will you drive for a date? Posted: 7/4/2009 2:45:45 AM | My last relationship was with a Norwegian, who flew from Norway to RI, and then flew me to Norway a couple of times. This would be why I don't get the lack of energy/desire/enthusiasm of people who b*tch about anything > 30minute drive limit to potentially find love and massive amounts of fun. Oh well, to each his own I suppose. MC | |
