The problem I have with this 30% of women is that
I don't respect them and lose my attraction for them.
If I have to "stop" a woman because SHE'S going too
far on the first date, forget it.
If you hand select the women you're dating, you could artificially
boost the figure to 100% -- but if they're not the women you want,
what's the point? A more relevant question, and one that can be
answered to a high degree of accuracy: What percentage of women
*I want to have a relationship with* want sex on the first date? | |

I'm good friends with a few women on this site and we talk about everything and their dates and such. A couple I have talked to lately has had dates with 2 or 3 different men in a week. I've never been out with 3 different women in a month,let alone a week. I tend to think women might possibly have more dates than the average guy. Sex on the first date? usually the relationship fizzles out within days or weeks if it doesn't fizzle out after the cheap thrill.
But then again thats only my opinion and everyone's got one. | |

A couple I have talked to lately has had dates with 2 or 3 different men in a week.
Meaning 8-12 men per month equating to 96-144 dates per year times 30% which gives them anywhere between 29-43 new bedpost notches per year. Of course multiply that with X amount of years on the dating scene and then you have a hefty figure (and that goes for men as well).
Is this the reality of serial dating?? Of course, this is not the intent, but is it indirectly the result? | |

Wow, I'm impressed. Two or three dates in a week! After a long work-day, I barely have the energy to drag myself home, make dinner for the kids, do dishes, throw a load of laundry in the washer, clean up the mess the house.......
Hey wait a minute. I'm starting to get a handle on why I don't have energy for 2 or 3 dates a week. | |

...Why is it that most men want to have sex on the first date? He did not have to think about this one...immediately hre responded....SIMPLY hit and RUN!
He said I need to date much older men like 40's 50's and they would different
and more resepectful ... so he thinks older better?
Well talking to many, many friends and being in the matchmaking business .....

(men and women), the percentage who'd like to have sex with
them on (or before) the first date is very high, and so it may be
more than just a simple gender issue or respect issue.
Moreover the topic question addresses actions, not desires.
It's easy to fall into the trap of assuming that what people
*want* to do is the same as what they're *willing* to do.
Men in their 50's could want sex as much as any other group,
but could be more likely to say "no" to it than men in their 30's,

I think its nobodys business who is sleeping with who and when. We are all adults thus we make that decision willingly to have sex, whether its the first date or the tenth. What does the number of the date really mean? Personally when it feels right, if the attraction is there and its mutual go for it. In my personal feeling I definitely agree that is we whether female or male have sex on first date, it will not go further than sex. Bottom line who cares, make your own decisions and live life. | |

Out of that 30% of women who've had sex on a first date, do they ask if they do that for EVERY first date? I think it's unfair to assume that because a woman's done it once, she does it every time.
Do what feels right, and if you have no regrets, it's all good.

I think it is sad for a lady to be so willing even if the passion and connection is there, it will be there after a few dates also. | |
