Survey containing how many people 100 / 1000 / 10000 maybe? well probably nearer 100 and then they scale it up and assume thats the responce they would get from the whole planet.

I think it's actually the rule of three, is it not? You multiply whatever a woman says by three, and you divide the man's number by three. So if we used that logic that would put women up to 90% and men down to like 25%! YES! Men are saints in the end. Wait, that can't be right. We all know that's not true, nor possible. The math doesn't add up. I do think the number is much higher though for women. As I said previously in my experiences dating I'd say it's more like 75-80%. Now I wonder how much each individual person makes a difference in this figure though. For instance, if a guy is decent looking and gets lots of dates but has no personality or substance, or is rude he's not likely going to get laid on the first date very often, not even based on his looks. But an average guy with lots of charisma and personality and knows how to treat a lady may convince more women with his charm that he is both bed and relationship worthy very quickly. Just a thought. | |

I still haven't figured out charisma....why some have it and some don't....what it is exactly....You'd think at my age I'd have some idea but no...
It was never determined if they meant a women who had EVER slept with someone on a first date or someone that does it routinely. I bet more than 30% of women have slept with someone on the first date-at least once in their lives.-eventhough they may no longer do that.

I think that 30% number might be more accurately attributed to the women who DO sleep with men on the first date consistently. I'm not talking every first date, but if they have a good time and are attracted to the man. I don't sleep with every first date, but if every first date was electric and I was still attracted to them at the end of the date and they were game I likely would. But I still think that number would be a bit higher than 30. Maybe 40 or 45% of women will generally put out if they like the guy on the first date. | |

But for the ones where there is absolutely no connection or chemistry, no way in hell would I be sleeping with them on a first date ....or ever.
When I met the ex, I would have slept with him the first date . He had that rare funny, charming, charismatic personality and there felt like I was hit with lightening when we had our first kiss. The sexual attraction we both felt was immense. Thank God they didn't ask for the stats for having sex on the 2nd date!

The problem I have with this 30% of women is that I don't respect them and lose my attraction for them. If I have to "stop" a woman because SHE'S going too far on the first date, forget it.
Not me bud!!....I love a women that knows what she wants and knows how to get it....I prefer aggressive women . Wanna rip my clothes off and tare me a new one? Got to catch me first...LOL
I see nothing wrong with sex on a first date and I find it very erotic to spend the evening with a real woman!! | |

I'm a product of the '50's and '60's. You were lucky to get a kiss on the 1st. date in the '50's. And lucky to get sex on the third or fourth date during the 1st part of the '60's; I got married in 1963 and didn't know what it was like after that except by observation of what others were doing.
Today if you are a man and don't suggest sex on the second date the woman thinks something is wrong with you. There is always sex before the 3rd. date! Always! | |

That assumes that men and women go out on equal numbers of dates and does not factor in situations where one man might have dates with 4 or 5 different women.
I think it's more like 80% of the women dating 20% of the men. That means 20% of the men are getting the most dates. Maybe 80% of the men are looking for anything acceptable to them and not getting many dates. There isn't really a lot of dating going on here for most men, besides there are more men than women on these sites. Actually I do get dates once in a while. | |
